Dates for your diary:

Nursery is shut for Christmas 23/12/19 and we will return 02/01/2020

Parents/Carers Please Note: Fees: Reminder to all parent/Carers that weekly fees are due

on a Monday in advance. Monthly payments are due on the 1st

working day of each month. Failure to do so will result in your child being denied entry to the nursery on the next day that your child attends.

You are required to give 4 weeks’ notice in writing of termination of your contract, this is part of your contract and terms and conditions with the nursery.

Can all Parents/Carers please ensure that they pull the front door behind them when coming in and out of the nursery, and to also ensure that when entering and leaving the toddler room that you pull the door closed behind you.

Please remember that NO children are allowed in the buggy area with you, they need to be dropped off to their rooms on arrival before putting the buggies away and on collection get the buggies before your child, ALSO please can all parents fold down your prams to ensure there is space for other users and to also ensure that the fire exit is kept clear.

What we will be learning over this term:Baby room:Children in the baby room will be taking part in malleable and sensory activities exploring their senses, they will take part in looking at natural objects and feeling them through treasure baskets. Babies will be taking part in creative experiences with the use of paint, glue, fabrics and creating their own art work masterpiece. All babies will be taking part in activities for the celebration of Chinese New Year on February 5th, it’s the year of the pig where they will be decorating pictures, learning about the animals and also enjoying a Chinese meal.

Toddler room:Toddlers will be learning to become more independent, trying new things such as wearing their own coats for garden play, serving themselves at meal times, and helping to set up meal areas and also at tidy up times. They will be taking part in circle time sessions which are active and enjoyable, children acting out stories and rhymes, for example 3 little monkeys. All toddlers will be taking part in activities for the celebration of Chinese New Year on February 5th, it’s the year of the pig where they will be decorating pictures, learning about the animals and also enjoying a Chinese meal.

Pre-School:Pre-School children are also learning independence and readiness for school, taking part in active story time sessions and role play. Tapestry is our online journal for recording all the learning and fun of your childrens early years education. Please can all parents and carers log in to their accounts and keep up to date with their childrens development. If you need any help speak to Stephanie Smith the Nursery assistant manager and EYFS Co-ordinator. All childrens photos, reports and observations will be uploaded and linked to the EYFS (Early years foundation stage). Parents can also upload any special moments or holiday photos to Tapestry, and also your childs Tapestry account can be exported into a PDF file on to your computers when they leave Bloomers Day Nursery.
