TRANSCRIPT
January was an interesting month with the weather! We experienced all 4 seasons in one
week! Snow on Saturday and 75 degrees the next Wednesday! Things can change quickly in
SC with the weather! Just as quickly, our lives can change! We have seen several deaths and
life changing diseases recently at MFBC! Pray for one another and encourage others as they
go through difficult days! One thing that never changes is the love of God! He loves you and
wants to get you through the storms of your life!
Thanks to all who give and go on missions! We just finished our Lottie Moon Offering for Inter-
national Missions. We received $22,168.52 to help our IMB Missionaries do the work they are
called to do! We had a mission team that included 10 from our church to go and encourage
our missionaries during January. They did a great job and after many delays, returned home
safely! As you are reading this newsletter, we will have a team of 14 in Nicaragua working in
the Tomas Borge Barrio doing construction, VBS, door to door witnessing, Men’s Bible Studies
and Women’s Bible Studies. Pray for us as we serve there through Feb 4. God has opened
doors for us to do a lot of mission work locally, nationally and internationally. Thanks to all
who go, give and pray! It takes all of us to accomplish the task!
I hope you signed up for at least one ministry during our ministry fair. If not, see me or Tedd
Barnette to get signed up! We need everyone doing something to fulfill the Great Commission
through MFBC!
Keep praying, giving and serving! God blesses a church that does that! God bless you all!

FAST Meeting February 22nd
following the service in the conf. room
The first quarter of this year your safe-
ty team is focusing on evacuations and
drills. We continue to plan and prepare
for events we pray will not occur but
with diligence we are committed to
respond. Your part is critical as well!
Some good general rules to remember
during any type of evacuation are:
*remain calm
*follow instructions of safety team
members
*use stairwells as directed (if applica-
ble)
*do not return for personal items after
you have left the area
*do not return to your area until the
"all clear" signal is given
These are just some of the best practic-
es to follow and your help will be
greatly appreciated!
Please continue to pray for your safety
team and remember safety is every-
one's concern.
In His service,
Jimmy & Rhonda Batson
Tuesdays 6:30-8pm in
the church conference
room
"The Bondage Breaker"
series continues and it is a
great study! If you or
someone you know deals
with issues like; the nature
of temptation and sin or
steps to freedom in Christ,
this is the study for you.
We have a great time stud-
ying and then discussing
life applications of God's
Word and draw stronger
together.
Please continue to pray for
this great ministry and
others in need.

Jimmy & Rhonda Batson
