The highlight of Japanese Camp is interacting & shar-
ing with our Japanese teacher.
Hands-on activities include a taste of Japanese cooking,
artistic creations, calligraphy, music, the Japanese arts ofkimono dressing and many various games. Enjoying and
having fun in the sun form the backdrop to this celebration
of Japanese language and culture.
Kids Program
1st Day Try Japanese traditional papercraft (Origami).
Here we start with some veryeasy origami for kids, and
build our way up to someslightly harder for older kids.

Calligraphy (Shodo: “the way of writing”) is the
art of writing beautifully. In Japan, most
children learn calligraphy in elementary school.
