morikami landscape gardens: in coming up with my idea behind this contemplation pavillion i took great emphasis on a quote that one of the master designers of the land-scape said, “ we exchange burden, boredom and despair for a more re-newal, inspirational and hopeful state of mind. which is exactly what i hoped to accomplish.

verglades project part 1 : this sea of grass was a major under-taking in understanding the environment, such as the wet and dry seasons and incor-porating the programing of the given cli-ent which was for a musician. the musician that i was given was johann sabastian bach and in understanding his work i realized that in his music, known as the saprano tone which is the highest tone and then trickles done to a softer bass. so in my de-sign i wanted to have different elevation changes that worked well with the tree

miami beach: this project was assigned in order to house an aspir-ing architect and musician. i elected to pick le corbusier and johann sabastian bach. what i found most influential about the site is the night life and interaction that some of the buildings had with the pedestrians. i chose to persue more of an extraverted attitude towards how i minipu-lated the site. therefore i wanted people to interact and be able to expierence the professionals talents.

The intention of the project is to create a permeable site that has a direct pedestrian acess to the beach. The open plan enables the ground floor that takes you through an industrial path. The experience through the building is divergent of public and private spaces.
