Dr. Korngold received extensive training in both General and Plastic Surgery at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center and then completed a three-year Plastic Surgical Residency at the Lehigh Valley University Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. There, he had extensive training in cosmetic surgery, particularly breast reconstruction, breast reduction, augmentation and abdominoplasty, in addition to cosmetic surgery of the face and eyes. Upon completion of his residency training in Plastic surgery, Dr. Korngold did a fellowship in micro-vascular hand surgery at the Kleinert Institute in Louisville, Kentucky, and is affiliated with the American Association for Hand Surgery.
Dr. Korngold is affiliated with both Good Samaritan and Nyack Hospitals. He is an established member of the local community where he resides with his wife and children. Dr. Korngold is well known for his compassion and friendliness in the Pediatric population, and he has appeared in Good Housekeeping, Redbook and Woman’s Day magazines.
His most recent focus is non-operative facial rejuvenation using the latest in facial fillers and Botox. He is also known for his availability, 24-hours daily, seven days a week for all trauma.
