I am trying to raise awareness for the recent riot sentencing in the UK. I want criminals that were convicted in the riots to be re-trialed and given a fair and suitable punishment.

I have made a facebook page to raise awareness for the recent riot sentencing. I have called it ‘Riot Sentencing is OVER the TOP’. I have called it this because the punishments that the criminals are getting is at an extreme level. A man was convicted for stealing £3.50 worth of water and he was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment. This is absolutely ridiculous because if this crime was committed before the riots it is unlikely that the criminal would have even got a caution.

I own the facebook page however I have used pictures and videos from other sources.

This screen shot shows my facebook page’s description. This is what people will see when they click on “info”. I have kept it short and simple because otherwise people wouldn’t have time to read it and they probably wouldn’t “like” it.

I have split it into paragraphs so that it is easier on the eye for people to read, because if I had one long paragraph it would seem long and it is unlikely that many people would read it.

The first screen shot shows my wall. I haven't really put much on it because I have only made the page a few days ago. I have added a video which is about whether or not the riot sentencing is fair and just or it is’nt.

I have already gained 62 “likes” on the page and that Is a good achievement for me as I have only made the page a couple of days ago. Having 62 “likes” on the page shows that 62 people have agreed with me on the issue so far. I predict that this will rise in time and I would like to have as many “likes” as possible so I know that people are agreeing with me on this particular issue.
