how to frame the question? Age and gender: contradictory impact of
gender & age/ageism on and for young men
contradictory aspects of being YOUNG: young age valued; OR young age devalued
contradictory aspects of being MEN: being men valued/dominant/more societal status ORbeing men dominant locally/but less societal status,or less successful, passive or othering others
What happens when we say ... MEN or YOUNG MEN & EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES
Does this mean (young) men do NOT have equalopportunities now? If so, is that:
as young men, as young people, as men? Which (young) men?

Do not re-centre young men as victims/problems & so forget women! Accountability, but not leaving it to women
Be persistent – for the long term, the future!!
