• Mobile sites usually only include specific functions and content.

• Mobile requires more vertical navigation, while desktop prefer horizontal.

• Hypertext may be common on desktops, but few to none on mobile devices.

• Mobile sites have global navigation, but contextual navigation in rare.

• Mobile sites do not have a normal footer area, there are no quick links.

• Most mobile sites are flat, and do not contain “breadcrumbs.”

• Mobile sites do offer better integration with phone functions.

• Mobile sites have technology that detects where the users are to present local search results, they are given personalization options.
