hereby declare that the information given above is correct to the best of my knowledge. I hold myself responsible for the full payment of all the fees due. I also conrm that I have read and understood the enrolment terms and conditions in this contract and therefore agree to be bound by them.

1. Unless inconsistent with or otherwise indicated by the context, an expression which denotes any gender shall include the other genders, a natural person shall include an articial person and vice versa and the singular shall include the plural and vice versa. Clause headings are included for reference purposes only and shall not be taken

into account when interpreting the agreement.2. For the purpose of the agreement “the Signatory” shall mean joint and severally, the Learner, the guardian, the Surety, the Sponsor and the Account Payer.3. Jeppe College reserves the right not to accept the application for registration unless it is accompanied by the registration fee and the rst installment.4. The registration fees is non refundable. Training, Examinations and Graduations5. Training shall be offered at the branch selected on the rst page of this agreement.6. Training shall be provided according to the timetable provided to the Learner. If no timetable has been issued to the Learner, training shall be provided at times and on

dates mutually agreed upon between the Learner and Jeppe College.7. Timetables and course commencement dates may be altered at the discretion of Jeppe College.8. The date and time of rescheduled training sessions due to late attendance/non attendance is at the discretion of Jeppe College.9. Jeppe College has the right to merge certain classes of similar academic level. All courses offered are subject to demand10. Failure of the Learner to attend training will not reduce liability for the cost of the course and the Signatory shall not be entitled to a credit or a reduction11. All nal examinations relative to the year of registration must be written within twelve months from the date the Learner’s registration, unless arranged with the Principal at the branch, in writing.12. Learners who are not permanent residence of South Africa must obtain a permit or residence permit before registering with Jeppe College. Course fees in respect of

Learners who do not comply with the above are not transferable or refundable.13. The Learner will not be permitted to write external examinations unless the external fees are paid timorously. The onus is on the Learner to ensure that they have been registered with, and have paid the necessary fees to the external body.14. Unless otherwise stated all examination papers and tuition material must remain at the training centre and remain the property of Jeppe College.15. Jeppe College reserves the right to close the campus at any time.16. Should Jeppe College be unable at any time to provide tuition as contemplated in this agreement, regardless of the cause of such liability, and regardless of whether

Jeppe College could have done anything to prevent such an inability to provide tuition or not, Jeppe College will give the Learner notice of such inability at the earliest opportunity. Jeppe College shall in such event use its best endeavors to ensure that tuition recommences as soon as possible, and may to this end amend the timetable or reschedule tuition classes.

17. The Signatory hereby confers the right on Jeppe College to view and obtain any results from external examination bodies.18. No results will be made available nor will a qualication or certicate be issued until the full balance due to Jeppe College has been paid. Learners may be suspended

from college if there is a breach of any part of this agreement. In the event of suspension from college, the Signatory will still be liable fro the full remaining balance of monies due. Jeppe College may permit the Learner to resume training once fees are up-to-date, provided the contract time has not expired.

19. Stationery and textbooks are not included in the tuition fees.20. For certain courses a minimum entry requirement may be applicable. The Learner warrants that they meet the requirements of any course that they are registered for.

Liability for the course fees will not be waived in the event that the learner does not meet the necessary requirements.21. All rules in the Learner Rule Book are an integral part of this agreement and the Learner binds themselves.22. The Learner hereby agrees to observe the Jeppe College Code of Conduct and discipline and should he/she interfere with other Learners or disturb the smooth running

of the campus he/she may be expelled from the campus, forfeiting all monies paid and be liable for monies payable as at the day of expulsion.23. Jeppe College may periodically make rules it considers advisable relating to course attendance, Learner conduct and other matters. Violations of academic honesty or of academic intgrity including cheating and plagiarism will result in disciplinary action and may result in expulsion.24. No alcohol and/or drugs are allowed on campus. Learners in whose possession alcohol and drugs are found may be expelled.25. Jeppe College may use images (photographs) taken of the Learner in its advertising and marketing without restriction.26. Jeppe College will not be liable for injury to or death of any Learner, nor loss or damage to personal effects and possessions whilst the Learner is on campus or anywhere

else in connection with the course. The Signatory hereby indemnies Jeppe College in this regard. Fees and Payments.27. Jeppe College reserves the right to adjust prices prior to the commencement date of the course should any accreditation intuitions impose a price adjustment.28. The Signatory is responsible for the payment of any external intuition fees and these fees are not in Jeppe College fees.29. Tuitions fees which are to be collected on behalf of external institutions will only be paid over to external institution once these fees have been paid to Jeppe College and

the Signatory’s account is not in default in any way.30. The Learner will not be permitted to attend tuition if the terms of payment are not adhered to. This will not relieve the Signatory of the obligation to pay full fees.31. Cheques must be made payable to “Jeppe College of Commerce and Computer Studies” and crossed “not transferable”.32. The Signatory hereby consents to an Emolument attachment and/or Garnishee order being obtained by Jeppe College , the installment there under not being less that

the installments as per this agreement.33. A certicate signed on behalf of the company by any Director, whose authority it shall not be necessary to prove, shall be prima facie evidence of any outstanding

indebtedness in terms thereof. Breach34. Should the Signatory breach this agreement in any manner whatsoever and without derogating from the generality thereof, then, not withstanding anything contained herein, the full amount of the principal debt outstanding together with interest up to the debt of breach shall immediately become due and payable. For the purpose of this paragraph the following shall be deemed to be a breach by the Signatory: 34.1 Failing to pay any installment on the due date 34.2 A provisional or nal order of sequestration being granted against the Signatory 34.3 The Signatory failing to have any judgment given against him/her rescinded within 21 days from the date that the judgment was handed down against him/her. General 35. Students not satised with the institution’s grievance procedures or training programmes should forward their concerns to UMALUSI telephonically (012) 349 1510 or

the Department of Higher Education and Training at (012) 312 5027.36. Fraud cases including altering information on deposit slips, exchanging fees cards are criminal cases and will be reported to the police and may lead to

suspension/discontinuation of a Learner from the study programme.37. Note that all refunds, students are obliged to provide Jeppe College within 20 business days’ notice in writing or other recorded means, of cancellation xed term

agreement. Reasonable penalties may apply
