Jesus Loves You, Even When You Fail

How could Jesus ever take us back when we fail Him repeatedly?

One individual should comfort us: Peter.Matt. 26:31-35: Jesus predicts Peter’s denial.

Matt. 26:69-75: Peter denies Jesus.Yet, Jesus restores Peter (John 21:15-23).

Jesus Loves You, Even When You Fail

Jesus still wants us in His family, even after we have failed (I John 1:8-9).

Jesus will accept us where we are (II Peter 1:5-8).

Jesus has a place and work for us, pushing us forward (Philippians 3:13-14).

Jesus gives us a clear picture of success (John 21:18; I John 1:8-9; Rom. 8:28-39).

Jesus Loves You, Even When You Fail

He expects us to follow Him, sacrificing ourselves for His will (John 21:18-19; Romans 12:1-2; Galatians 2:20).

He expects us to care for His sheep (I John 4:20-21; Romans 15:2).

He expects us to do the job, even when we do not feel like it (John 14:15).

He expects us to stay focused on Him and our duty, and not get distracted by others (John 21:20-23; Matthew 25:14-30).
