Project 1I wanted to pick an easy project for my first attempt. The requirements called for three solder seams so any of my sketches below would meet the criteria. The one I selected was

The PendantThis was not quite as easy a I originally thought it would be. There were several challenges. Some of them were:• There were 20 solder

seams. I melted the whole bottom half of the piece.

• The jewel needed to be changed because the bead was too thick.

• The new bead I added needed to be soldered right next to the bead (I broke it - twice).

This project was a sheet metal project that used piercing, surface texture, forming, patina and soldering.

The Finished Project

This project was much simpler than my first project. I did not have too many challenges with this project except that I melted a bail. I was also not satisfied with the final shine on the project.
