HR Audit:
The client, a national airline carrier was at an unsustainable loss for five (5) consecutive years wantedto conduct a financial audit to identify the root cause of loss. A highly confidential governmentinitiated and funded project
Conducted financial analysis on manpower related costs i.e. salary, benefit, overtime, medical claimsand compared with historical trends and other regional airline operators’ figures
Discovered the company has entered into an onerous contract for 25 years whereby they werecharged 125% more in catering services and employees were claiming 20% more overtime than itscompetitors highlighting potential process inefficiency and lack of governance
Analysed the trade union’s agreements and other manpower related cost and providedrecommendations for potential areas for manpower cost reduction
