Five of 705 Test Positive for COVID-19; UPDATED: COVID-19 Vaccination and TestingSchedule; Food Commodities Distribution Continues

Results: Five New Cases of COVID-19Five (5) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 705 tests performed July 23 – 25. One(1) case reported recent travel history and was identified in quarantine. To date, there have been atotal of 8,506 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 143 deaths, 44 cases in activeisolation, and 8,319 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.2.

Operation Liberate Guam update: To date, a total of 95,383 or 79.46% of adults have receivedeither both doses in the two-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna) or the single-dose series(Johnson & Johnson/Janssen) of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Free COVID-19 Testing ScheduleCOVID-19 community testing continues. No symptoms are needed to qualify for testing. Bring aphoto ID. Results available onsite. Testing for travel purposes will not be conducted at thesecommunity testing sites. Call the DPHSS Northern Region Community Health Center at635-7525/6 to schedule an appointment for COVID-19 testing for travel. Priority is given topatients under investigation and those traveling for medical purposes. Only four (4) people pervehicle are allowed to be tested.
