India. 0irst commissioned in )BB)% !SP" leads the Indian mar/et in this sector and has

the $orldDs largest coal4based s#onge iron #lant% $ith a ca#acit, o& #roducing ).-3

MTP7 <RI. It is the onl, s#onge iron manu&acturer in the countr, $ith ca#tive ra$

material resources and #o$er generation.

Modern rail and universal beam mill

Commissioned in 3-% the mill has a $ide range o& #roducts ranging &rom long rails

u# to )3) meter to medium and large sie #arallel &lange beams and columns. The

#roduct mi includesJ trac/ rails% crane rails% #arallel &lange beams and columns and

channels.

To enhance its #roductivit, and consistenc, in @ualit,% the ne$ tandem mill% the &irst

o& its /ind in India% $as #urchased &rom SMS Meer% +erman,% and installed and

commissioned in November 36% in $hich its #atent K4; technolog, is ado#ted &or

rolling o& beams and columns. *ther sections li/e rails and channels are also rolled

via the universal route.

Introducing ne$er technologies% the com#an, has installed a #late mill% $hich

manu&actures the $idest #lates o& -. meter in coil &orm and coils o& - meter $idth. It

commenced commercial #roduction &rom 7#ril 3F and has a #roduction ca#acit, o&

). MTP7. The mill has been consistentl, #roducing #lates and coils in various

grades li/e ?N% <NG% 9S% 7STM% !IS% "RS and 79S certi&ied b, CII.

Medium and light structural mill

0urthering our endeavour to #rovide a com#lete #roduct bas/et and an enhanced

structural section range to its customer% the com#an, is #roud to announce the



commissioning o& its state4o&4the4art .6 MTP7 ca#acit, medium and light structural

mill 2M"SM5. The mill is IS* B) and )>) certi&ied and also having 9IS

certi&ications &or most o& the sections.

J$n(a% "ement

The !indal Cement #lant at Raigarh runs on slag and &l, ash. It has been set u# to

utilise $astes generated during steel manu&acture. The #lant $as established to

manage solid $aste generated &rom steel and #o$er #lants and to #rocess them into

cement 2/no$n as Portland Slag Cement5. The com#an, started $ith a grinding

ca#acit, o& .F3 MTP7 in 3). It #lans to add another ).- MTP7 clin/er grinding

unit to increase the grinding ca#acit, b, 3 MTP7. The cement manu&actured is sold

under the brand !indal Cement. The com#an, manu&actures a s#ecial #roduct% !indal

+lobal Road Stabiliser 2!+RS5% and is the onl, manu&acturer in India o& the same.

!+RS $as develo#ed to stabilise multi#le soil t,#es in an e&&icient and a cost e&&ective

manner.

district o& Chhattisgarh.
