HI !
My name is Joe Keogh. I am 16 years old. I was born and bred in ShekO, the east coast of Hong Kong.
My Mum is from Thailand and my Dad is from Australia. He makes sails for racing yachts in Asia.
I started surfing in my lo-cal fishing village, ShekO, when I was around 3 years old with my older brother and Dad. From the very first wave my Dad pushed me in on I was hooked, and I’ve been surfing ever since.
Apart from surfing, I take part in long distance ocean swimming competitions, Stand-up paddle, and also play rugby for the Hong Kong Youth National team.

I have been traveling throughout Asia and Austra-lia taking part in surf competitions since I was 8 years old. I enjoy surfing and competing with my friends who I have met in Indonesia, Thailand, China, Taiwan and Australia. It is great to meet new people in the surf community and get to know their cultures.
Surfing in my life and its my dream turn pro one day. I am currently one of Hong Kong’s top surfers and holder of the Mens A and Juniors title.
