A TRUE NEW YORK STORY

Born in Greece, John emigrated to America as an inant, settling on 135th Street in Harlem

Johns parents arrived with little, but his ather went to work as a busboy to eed his amily

While John studied electrical engineering at NYU, he worked in a grocery store to help his

parents pay the bills. Just beore graduating, John decided to venture into the grocery stor

business and became so successul that he owned 10 supermarkets by age 25.

Today Johns Red Apple Group has holdings in aviation, retail, energy, and real estate

and employs over 8,000 people over 2,000 right here in New York City.
