About OREd

The Operations Research and Education Laboratory (OREd) offers school long-range facility planning and student assignment analyses that are driven by data and supported by Board policy. As a part of the Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE) at North Carolina State University, OREd has more than twenty-five years’ experience conducting Land Use Studies, forecasting student enrollment, and providing optimal attendance boundary scenarios.
