We Aim High
By Choosing: the single best global frequency and an ISO standard already mandated by the largest active RFID customer in the world
By Collaborating: with subject matter experts from dozens of DASH7 Alliance members and advisors
By Competing: as the longest range, lowest power, lowest latency technology in wireless sensor networking
Tuesday, May 17, 2011
What We DoImprove: we are working on a variety of initiatives to both improve the ISO 18000-7 standard as well as reference other complementary standards and in some cases, build new specifications and standards to help DASH7 realize its full potential.
Certify: our members submit DASH7 products for conformance and interoperability testing using a third party testing house
Market: we create greater awareness about DASH7 in order to open new markets and create new revenue opportunities for our members.

Why Join?1. Access the latest DASH7 specifications before they become ISO standards. DASH7 Alliance members gain a head start on the competition by as much as two years by getting early access to specifications.
Current specifications include DASH7 Mode 2, and other draft specifications in development include the DASH7 security and common reader protocol specifications.
2. Build DASH7 products with the benefit of subject matter experts, free development kits, and member-only events that enable your company to build DASH7 products faster and better than the competition.
4. Influence the direction of future DASH7 specifications, regulatory, certification, and marketing efforts is consistent with your own vision of the future. DASH7 Alliance members have a unique opportunity to shape the future of wireless sensor networking at an early stage.
5. Network with industry luminaries. DASH7 Alliance meetings are increasingly seen as sales or business development opportunities where suppliers, integrators, end users, regulators, and academics convene and speak in hushed tones in small groups about new DASH7 business opportunities.
To be included in these hushed sidebar meetings, you must be a principal or charter member of the alliance. Fortunately, alliance meetings take on a different continent every 10 weeks to ensure maximum international participation. And our annual meeting, held every February, takes place in a warm, sunny place, usually an island.
3. Certify your DASH7 products using exclusive DASH7 test tools and certification services. Only DASH7 Alliance members with products that have successfully passed DASH7 Certified™ conformance and interoperability testing may use the “DASH7 Certified” logo.
