SYNOPSIS
What is arbitration exactly and how can it benefit you? How does it differ from going to court? Who can be appointed as an arbitrator? Are
there different ways to conduct arbitration? How much does it cost? How do you prepare for it? What is an Arbitral Award and how can it be
enforced? As basic as these questions may sound, the answers are essential to equip construction industry players with the skills to navigate
this formal dispute resolution process. If you would like to know more about arbitration or simply want a refresher on these essentials, come get
the answers to these questions and more at a one day course on Arbitration conducted by the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators. This course
will help enrich your understanding of arbitration from a practical and real world perspective. The speakers/facilitators, whom themselves are
practitioners in arbitration, will utilize their extensive and in-depth knowledge and experience as they share with you on the various aspects of
arbitration. What’s more exciting is there will be a mock arbitration at the end of the course to help you experience and see first hand what
happens in court arbitration! Register to secure a place today!
