Joint Design and DimensionsAll joint design and dimensioning must be fully in accordance with the relevantstandards (i.e. ISO 11600/DIN 18540).

Substrate QualityClean and dry, sound, free from oil,grease, dirt and loose particles. Loosepaint, laitance and any other poorlyadhering particles must be removed.Normal construction standards mustbe observed.

PrimerA primer has the following functions:

To improve adhesionTo prevent sealant contaminationof the substrate (i.e. migration)To improve the substrate surface
