The Joli Dancer™ is the most amazing hair creation for women with no hair at all who lead a very active lifestyle, even professional athletes. It does not feel like any other wig. TIPS FOR ALL JOLI CAMELEON WIGS
GENERAL MAINTANENCE
• All Hand-‐tied Joli Caméléon hair creations • Our all hand-‐tied hair creations offer an extremely natural and lightweight feel and look, They must be
well cared for. They are more natural, but inherently not as durable, as heavier, machined-‐wefted wigs. • When washing and styling, take extra care to handle hand-‐tied wigs gently. Follow the care instructions
provided. The Joli Caméléon authorized professional is the advanced wig care expert. • When putting the wig on a wearer’s head or mannequin, or adjusting it, take care not to handle it
roughly, or pull on the lace front as fine lace can rip if not handled carefully.
• Machine-‐Wefted Joli Caméléon hair creations• Take care not to let liquid hair care products stay on the wefts for prolonged periods. • Hair color, conditioners, oils and products that build-‐up, are hard to rinse out and leave residue can break
down the glue and cause premature hair loss.
• Hand-‐Knotted areas• Keep all hair care products away from the hair roots (hand-‐tied knot areas) completely. Hair color,
conditioners, oils and other residue can loosen and/or damage knots and cause hair loss. All Joli Caméléon wigs are hand-‐knotted on the top and some are hand-‐tied in the back..
• Coloring Joli Caméléon human hair creations• Though human hair wigs can be colored by a trained professional, dramatic changes in color are not
recommended because the hair does not grow out. Thus any damage caused will remain indefinitely. Blondes, especially platinum blondes, are the most delicate hair color. It is not suggested to color them, especially with peroxide or bleach. We use a proprietary hair color system for our sophisticated color range. It withstands decolorization and oxidation longer than most wigs, but may create incompatibilities with familiar salon color formulas. Strand testing is always recommended before coloring.
• Human hair, especially cuticle hair, should be brushed at least two or three times daily• Human hair wigs, especially when cuticle intact, have a natural “drag” feel. They should be brushed, at
minimum, morning and evening, just like biological hair. Use a wide tooth comb or your Joli Caméléon easy-‐care brush to smooth out the hair as human hair will naturally cling together from static and friction. Insufficient maintenance risks tangling. This is especially true during hot weather or high energy activity.
• Cleaning & maintaining our Silicone hair creation models• The silicone panels on these models of Joli Caméléon wigs, should be cleaned at least twice per day
or after activity, to maintain best performance. Gently wipe with a warm washcloth and a very tiny amount of soap/shampoo. Wipe again with plain water and dry.
