Jonah Resnick

Chef Jonah Resnick was born and raised in Chicago. After graduating from Denison University in 2004, he discovered his passion for the culinary arts when he began working at Bistro 110. In 2007, Jonah’s passion led him to pursue employment with one of New York City’s top chefs, Daniel Boulud. During his year at Boulud’s flagship restaurant, Daniel, Jonah worked as a Commis and on the rotisserie station. After his time at Daniel, Jonah found himself back in Chicago at Blackbird, one of the city’s top restaurants. After learning from Chef Mike Sheerin, he quickly rose to become Sous Chef. In 2011, a friend notified Jonah of an opportunity with Major Food Group in NYC. After meeting with Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi of the restaurant group, Jonah was hired as a Sous Chef at Torrisi Italian Specialties. Only two years later, Jonah began to focus all his attention to Carbone as Executive Sous Chef and was promoted to Chef de Cuisine in July of 2013. In 2014, Jonah helped open another Carbone in Hong Kong and was later promoted to Corporate Chef of the Carbone Brand. Jonah has made Las Vegas his new home and will be opening another Carbone within ARIA Resort & Casino.
