CURRICULUM VITAE JONATHAN JACKSON CA PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE SUMMARY I am a Chartered Accountant who works in corporate and personal insolvency contexts. I have experience: Reporting at an executive level, Managing a team of staff, Discharging the duties of a Management Accountant including analysing and modelling businesses (under time pressure and often with incomplete information), reporting to key stakeholders and making recommendations regarding business risks and weaknesses and proposed remedial action. Discharging the duties of an Insolvency Accountant including meeting all statutory requirements and acting in an efficient and commercial manner to meet the objects of formal and informal appointments (primarily to identify, control and realise assets for the benefit of creditors). I started working in an accounts role for a forklift dealership 'Allforks CAT' in 2004. A key achievement was designing and implementing an excel-based costing tool to: (1) standardise quotes for equipment sales and service agreements; (2) provide management with more control over financial commitments; and, (3) ensure fidelity between what was quoted to the customer, what was ordered from the factory, and what was built on the shop floor. This task required me to liaise with all aspects of the business. The tool led to quicker and more timely quoting, more “won” contracts, and less administrative errors which were associated with costs. This formed the basis for my career where I thrive working in problem-based contexts, working from a perspective which encompasses the organisation as a whole. With a view to becoming professional, in 2005 I commenced formal accounting studies and started working for a public practice insolvency firm. My focus from that time has been in the management of external administration of distressed companies requiring immediate financial risk assessment, establishment of commercial strategies, communication with lenders, employees and key suppliers, and making decisions on profitable trading and sustainability with significant financial exposure. This area of corporate accounting and business operation requires the ability to understand and apply all aspects of successful commercial performance, including high level budgeting, cash flow analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, operating under significant stress and tight time-frames in an environment that often involves conflict negotiation and sensitive and honest communication. Working within the insolvency industry has given me meaningful exposure to many industries including but not limited to construction, manufacturing, retail, primary industry and hospitality.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

I am a Chartered Accountant who works in corporate and personal insolvency contexts. I have experience:

• Reporting at an executive level,

• Managing a team of staff,

• Discharging the duties of a Management Accountant including analysing and modelling businesses (under time pressure and often with incomplete information), reporting to key stakeholders and making recommendations regarding business risks and weaknesses and proposed remedial action.

• Discharging the duties of an Insolvency Accountant including meeting all statutory requirements and acting in an efficient and commercial manner to meet the objects of formal and informal appointments (primarily to identify, control and realise assets for the benefit of creditors).
