matter having been filed with the Commissioner of Public Health,

on the .-L)~H day of May, 1986, ?- and the undersigned Commissioner of

Public Health, having reviewed the file and bei.ng fully advised

in the premises FINDS:

1. That a hearing in the above entitled matter was held on

October 23, 1985; before a panel of the Board of Medical

Examineius ant1 the propozcd decision was filed on the 8th day of

Nover;.iber, 1185 at, which time the Board accepted the proposed

decision.

2. That on the 6th day of March, 1986, following a

hearing by a yuorun of the Board on the Respondent's appeal of

the hearing panel's proposed decision, the Board of Medical

Examiners affirmed and adopted the findings of fact and

conclusion3 of 1. a w of the hearin& panel. The proposed decision

of the hearing panel, and the Decision on Appeal to the Board of

Medical Examiners are attached hereto and by this reference made

a part hereof.

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, that the license to practice

medicine and surgee-y issued to Jose V. Amorin, Jr., M.D., on October

IOWZ Board of Eiedical Examiners is suspended until such time as

the Respondent has tol.cn and passed the Foreign Medical Graduate

Examination in ttle Medical Sciences (FHGEMS) administered by the

Educatlcnal Corlt...ir,sion for Foreign Medical Graduates, 3624 Market,

Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104-2685.

that his license to practice medicine and surgery shall be

reinstated under probation for a period of ten years under the

followi.ne; terns and conditions.

A. The Respondent shall not apply for hospital privileges

or c.n.erL;ency t’oom privileges at any medical facility in Iowa

without prior wl’itten approval. of the Roard.
