To Whom It May Concern,
I have had the pleasure of working with Joe Freyta
over the past few years as an instructor in the fashion
program at The Art Institute of Colorado. Joe has been one of
my most participatory, dedicated and hard working students.
He consistently presents great ideas, designs and out-of-the-
box thinking. When working with a group, he pulls his
weight, brings out the best in others and creates an atmo-
sphere of fun, while getting the work done. He takes his job
seriously.
Joe helped create a men’s collection for my yoga
clothing business, Beckons. We have been working with the
publisher of Yoga Journal to t the garments and rene their
functionality. Joe combined my domestic production require-
ment of simplicity and already existing brand aesthetic with
his own unique style to create a ve-piece, forward-thinking
men’s collection that will be available for fall 2015 at
www.beckonsyogaclothing.com.
Joe’s work is on time, well presented, and creative. I
am impressed with his skills and positive attitude and know
that he will add greatly to any community he is part of.

Dear Recruiting Department,
Any company should count themselves lucky to have
an employee as bright, creative, and dedicated as Joe. I was
fortunate enough to be Joe’s direct supervisor from Septem-
ber 2015 through April 2016.
We worked very closely together throughout his time
at Kenneth Cole. Our category, Men’s Outerwear and Suit
Separates, spanned a 5 tier branding structure where Joe
honed his eye for design, t analysis, and fabric development.
He was also responsible for all cads and tech packs through-
out the three seasons we worked on. He showed a sophisti-
cated grasp on garment construction during t sessions and
proto reviews.
Without Joe I would not have been able to handle
the shear amount of work on my plate. He eortlessly found
innovative ways to overcome obstacles both on his own and
while working with the team. Throughout my 20 years of
experience at Kenneth Cole, I can say with condence, Joe’s
abilities are unparalleled to any other assistant I have had.
Despite coming on board as a young designer, he was able to
rapidly come up to speed with others much his senior.
My hope for him is to nd a company where he can
further grow as a designer and as the creative and genuine
person he is.
For all of these reasons, I think Joe will make an
outstanding addition to your team and have no qualms about
giving Mr. Freyta the highest recommendation for the
position. If you have any questions please feel free to contact
me.
