SUBJECT: PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REFERENCE – MR. JOSEPH IMUSAGO
I have had the privilege of working closely with Joseph Imusago for the past nine years. He was
the IT support for all the College computer labs at the Grande Prairie Regional College.
I have taught almost 30 years and worked with many IT personal who provide us with critical
support. Joseph Imusago was the very best. The IT support required in our labs is complicated
and challenging. We teach a vast variety of software applications and other emerging
technologies. We also teach in labs that have capacities of 35 to 51 stations. It is normal for these
labs to be scheduled to capacity from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. most teaching days. Because of
Joseph’s support, the labs operated flawlessly and when there was a problem, he solved it. He
always solved it!
On a personal note, Joseph is a brilliant and generous man. He went above and beyond to be kind
and supportive to our students’ individual technology needs. He was an active volunteer for the
2010 Arctic Winter Games hosted by Grande Prairie. Joseph helped in setting up the Chef de
Mission offices at the College. He was even able to offer IT tech support in Russian to our guests
from Yamal. We are unlikely to see is equal every again.
