Recently, Malaysia has experienced an increasing competition among universities and higher
education institutes to attract local and international students. s !or competitive pressure, higher
education needs to change their mar"eting strategies in order to compete !or students. This ma"es
it even more complex and complicated !or University#s !actor, as it $ecomes more competitive,
the !actor itsel! $ecoming more demanda$le than ever $e!ore. %trategy !or mar"eting and trying
to recruit&attracting more students into university also $ecoming more complex.It is conculded
that course and career in!ormation, physical aspect and !acilities are a very $ig pro$lem that must
$e "ept in mind 'hen University are trying to create a $igger advantage in mar"eting.This
various variety and the accessi$ility (oined 'ith the $eauty o! the its o'n )uality o! education
has made it popular to potential students in 'orld'ide. *hile the signi!icant !actor that a!!ecting
students in choosing an institution !or the graduate studies is the academic excellence and the
scholarship o! the particular institution. Moreover, the )uality o! the particular institution
environment is considered as an important !actor, so then the students can !eel the pure essenceo! the nature 'hich made the candidates mind in one direction to secure the mood emotionally
and physically. +esides that, the cost o! the particular program !or the education also a main
ma(or !actor.Moreover, some students pre!er school that are close to their hometo'n or place. It
is )uite convenient and accessi$ility !or them. gain, lo' cost is one o! the !actor that in!luence
students 'hich college to choose !or education. so, it seems that there is a signi!icant
relationships $et'een location and college choice decision. Range o! study, !lexi$ility o! degree
program, ma(or change !lexi$ility and range o! degree options is also in!luence students. %o, an
university should not rely on some !actors mar"eting strategies, costs-, they also need to pay
attention to some ma(or !actors li"e reputation, employment opportunities so that they can
compete 'ith other competitors in the 'orld o! /igher 0ducation1.

that, The sample population is specialty to the student at the university, and through as"ing a
randomly in 34 !emales and males a$out the !actors.The most signi!icant !actors are the !inancial
pro$lem, $ut $et'een !emales this 'as not signi!icant 'ord o! mouth.Other than that, some o!
the !actors are tendency pro!ile, the rate o! mar"s in the high school, la$or mar"et re)uirements,
num$er o! years o! study to desired speciali5ation, and the !inancial a$ility.In additional, students
choice across all the varia$le !actors since their parents attitudes have the greatest e!!ect on them,
especially in the 0astern communities, as 6u$ilius and 7asumoto, 3889-.In !act, there are many
"ind o! !actor impact student select o! university, they include o! personal !actors, social !actors,
economic !actors, educational !actors, and mar"eting !actors. This study !ocus on mar"eting
!actors, a$out ho' is the 2ordanian student#s got in!luence in ma"e choice o! a private university.

Today in Malaysia, tertiary education has $ecome very important issue as it targeted to $ecome
an industriali5ed $y the year 3838. Not only development in :/uman Resources# $ut also need to
create a sustaina$le $usiness to provide $etter services to its customers. To ac)uire the goal o!
regional education hu$, tertiary education in Malaysia need to $e relevant as 'ell as competitive
to attract more local students and internationals also. /ere, the most important !actor is academic
)uality or scholarships. +esides, sa!e environment is essential !or students. It 'ill !eel students
com!ort more physically and emotionally. Other issues 'hich got relation to $oth course and
non;course related matters impede academic success o! getting more international students.
Mostly due to the cultural di!!erences. Other !actors include the su$(ect content o! the course,
loneliness, !inancial pressure and ne' to environment or not com!orta$le at the academic.Despite so many issues that can $e risen up, most students theoretically still stayed. +ecause o!
this, the main o$(ective o! this study is clear, it 'as to determine the !actors that in!luencing the
choice o! institution !or international graduate student.
