FABRIC SWATCHES

+FLORAL 70% Cotton, 28% Polyester, 2% Spandex

With is being spring, there are florals all around. It is in dresses, shirts, skirts, jeans, leggings.

+TRIBAL 100% Polyester

The tribal print is also everywhere. It suddenly came back and it is in clothing and even phone cases and things along those lines.

+BLACK LACE 100% Nylon

I think black lace will always be a trend. You could dress it up or dress it down. It is in everything today, clothes, shoes and even household items.

Fashion Do’s and Don’ts

+Men

n  Men should not be sagging their pants. Whether it is baggy pants, or skinny jeans this style is not in or never was in. Boys, pick up your pants and walk around professionally, not looking like a hoodlum.

+Men

n  Men should not wear printed pants. I believe only very few people can pull off printed pants, and I really don’t think men can.

+Women

n  Camouflage on women should not be allowed. Unless you are out hunting and getting muddy, there is no reason for a woman to be wearing camo as everyday clothing. It looks too casual and makes people think they’re a “redneck” even though they are trying to act country.

+Women

n  A don’t that women should not do, is wear the booty shorts. They are disgusting and makes a woman look easy. It’s disrespectful to other women because we don’t want to be portrayed based on how they are dressed.

Store Visit: 5 Trends Kohl’s

+Trend 1: Leather Jackets

n  Leather jackets are in trend. They are found everywhere and they come in all types now. Although they are still leather they have then in multiple colors and some even have the studs on them.

n  I think this trend will stay in style for awhile, because leather jackets have always been around. The colors and style of them are what have changed.

+Trend 2: Denim

n  Denim is everywhere today. Doesn’t matter where you go, there will be something in denim. There are denim shirts, jackets, and dresses.

n  I believe this trend will stick around at least through the fall. Because it can work for any season.

+Trend 3: Pastel Jeans

n  Although I only found a few pastel jeans, they were there. I am noticing more and more that they are showing up slowly. It was print jeans, but now it is pastels.

n  I think this trend will just stay through the spring. Pastel’s are spring colors, so I think it will be a short trend.

+Trend 4: Floral

n  Florals have been in trend for awhile now and I believe they are just getting bigger. The print is everywhere and on everything now. It’s very vintage but modern.

n  I think this trend will stay around for awhile. It is too popular now just to die down quick.

+Trend 5: Knit

n  Knit is a very winter material, but I am seeing it more in the spring now. It is in knit tops, but instead of coming in dark winter colors they are coming in pastels and short sleeves.

n  I think this will just be a quick trend, then be done. Knits are for winter.

n  I have always loved Vera Wang, and I absolutely love everything in the collection.

From the style of the dresses and the way they

are cut in the front and back. I also love the shoes, I

would where them all the time if I had them. I also thought the colors she

picked were perfect for the season.

n  I believe Macy’s would carry this collection
