Clearview, Jefferson, LA. The project work is divided into two (2) sections: Base Bid and Base Bid plus Alternate Bids 1, 2, and 3. The full scope of each add alternate bid are further defined in the contract documents. The Base Bid includes the demolition of walls, ceilings, light fixtures, carpeting and other building components as indicated in the contract documents. The installation of new walls, ceilings, flooring, HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, doors, hardware, and other building components as indicated in the contract documents. The add Alternate Bid 1 includes the demolition of the existing roof and re-installation of a new modified built-up roof system. The add Alternate Bid 2 is for the installation of a new emergency generator with automatic transfer switch, steel platform and visual screen. The add Alternate Bid 3 is for the removal of existing curtain wall glazing and the installation of a new impact resistive curtain wall glazing. All bids must be in accordance with the contract documents on file with the Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department, Suite 4400, Jefferson Parish General Government Building, at 200 Derbigny Street, Gretna, Louisiana. The Jefferson Parish Sanitary Landfill is located at 5800 Highway 90 West, Avondale, LA, 70094. The Landfill is a Type I/II Municipal Solid Waste Landfill owned by Jefferson Parish and all operations are contracted. The Landfill falls under the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) and Type 70 Operating Permit 1340-00140-V4 by was issued by LDEQ. The Landfill Gas Collection and Control System (LGCCS) consists of 271 gas extractions wells, 13 condensate sumps with pneumatic pumps, 43 pneumatic pumps installed in gas extraction wells, various isolations valves and appurtenances, and a blower flare station. The primary gas control device is a compressor station and pipeline (operated and maintained by others) that transmits the gas to an off-site facility that uses the gas as a medium BTU heat source. The on-site flare is the secondary control device. The current contract for LGCCS Operation and Maintenance (O&M) expires on December 31, 2015. Jefferson Parish wishes to execute a 5-year contract with an experienced and capable company for O&M services. The Contract will be administered by the Department of Environmental Affairs.     REQUEST FOR PROPOSALSRFP 0338Jefferson Parish Department of Purchasing is soliciting Proposals from qualified firms to provide Jefferson Parish Sanitary Landfill Gas Collection and Control System Operation and Maintenance Services for the Department of Environmental Affairs.The Jefferson Parish Sanitary Landfill is located at 5800 Highway 90 West, Avondale, LA, 70094. The Landfill is a Type I/II Municipal Solid Waste Landfill owned by Jefferson Parish and all operations are contracted. The Landfill falls under the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) and Type 70 Operating Permit 1340-00140-V4 by was issued by LDEQ.The Landfill Gas Collection and Control System (LGCCS) consists of 271 gas extractions wells, 13 condensate sumps with pneumatic pumps, 43 pneumatic pumps installed in gas extraction wells, various isolations valves and appurtenances, and a blower flare station. The primary gas control device is a compressor station and pipeline (operated and maintained by others) that transmits the gas to an off-site facility that uses the gas as a medium BTU heat source. The on-site flare is the secondary control device.The current contract for LGCCS Operation and Maintenance (O&M) expires on December 31, 2015. Jefferson Parish wishes to execute a 5-year contract with an experienced and capable company for O&M services.
