The JP double layer edition will always be a fi rst choice for the rough use environment, like the whitewater for example. The weight of our double layer edition infl atables is still lighter than what competition has to offer. The boards come in a rich and colorful design with a double-stroke high pressure pump and a new bag with a big zipper opening for easier packing and unpacking.

NEW FIN BOX AND FINThe fi n-box is an all new US-box compatible system and comes with ALL our inflatable boards! They suit short base US box fi ns. Unlike most fi ns for infl atable boards, these new fi ns are foiled.

LIGHT EDITION TECHNOLOGIES

The LE stands for “Light Edition” – Light weight, Light design and Light on your pocket!

The drop-stich material itself is thinnerthan our standard JP double layer edition . Therefore the boards are lighter, yet they retain a very similar stiffness as JP double layer edition infl atables. This has been achieved with a special lamination bond to Cross-Linked Space Yarn during the material production. The new material that we use for LE boards is not to be compared to the competition “single skin” infl atables which are often not 100% airtight and are much softer than a standard construction board.

The fact that the drop-stich material itself is thinner carries a risk of an easier damage if the board is not handled with care. Sharp rocks and frequent abrasion on concrete or asphalt may result in damage to the surface easier than with a standard JP double layer edition board.

The advantages of the LE edition include the facts that the boards are almost half the weight of some of the competition boards in the same size. They can be rolled tightly and therefore take almost half the space of some of the competition boards. This led us to developing a more compact bag.

To keep the boards light on your pocket we opted for a minimalist design in white color. We supply the boards with high pressure single-stroke pump and they come in single fi n option.The windsurf model comes with an additional center fi n, fi n box and a mast plug.

windsurfers in our company were always curious

how they would feel as a windsurf boards. So, we

decided to make a sample and they liked it and

saw some potential for these products. But the real

make the outline more parallel which adds to the speed and the stability of the

board. The wider nose and tail section add to a much more balanced feel. The

THE EVOLUTION CONTINUES

For 2016 we have continued to further evolve and improve our SURF range.

After the very successful transformation of the 8’6” last year we decided to do the similar changes on the

8’10” and 9’6”. We increased the rocker line curve and pulled in the nose and tail for the boards to become

no-compromise performance shapes for the surf. As the abilities of our riders evolve, the new shapes follow the

evolution. Therefore we have two exciting new sizes for 2016; the 7’2”x25” with 82 liters for the lighter or skilled

riders and the team favorite - 7’6”x27” with 92 liters.

We haven’t stopped there with the development; to further increase the versatility of the Surf range, the PRO

boards now all come with a 5 fi n setup option and 3 fi ns. The smaller sizes from 7’2” through to 8’6” all come with

3 FCS plugs instead of the US box to reduce the weight even more. The 3 plugs provide 2 center fi n options and

the boards come with a RTM thruster fi n set.

The 8’10”, 9’2” and the 9’6” have the 5 fi n option with the US box for the center fi n to be able to accommodate

a bigger fi n.

The Wood Edition and the AST Surf boards still come with standard - US box thruster set up.

The PRO and WE boards come with an FCS plug in the nose to attach your GoPro camera. All the boards come with

a mast-foot insert to attach a windsurf rig.

The PRO layup of our SURF and SURF WIDE BODY boards has no carbon as we believe that carbon makes the

boards too stiff for the surf. We have kept a natural fl ex pattern with strategic dual density sandwich layup and

optimizing of the fi ber direction.

Importantly, our PRO boards are the lightest boards on the market that come with a deck pad!

The combination of carefully balanced design features allows the user to come up with a new style of riding. The super parallel outline is the key. It generates speed instantly when the board is railed up, reduces drag and increases lift. It offers the most effi cient volume distribution possible, therefore the boards can be shorter and narrower than ever before.

The reduced overall length of the board eliminates the swing weight and lets itself be thrown around.

The chopped off diamond nose is equipped with a soft channel in the center with bevels on each side for a forgiving “no pearling” entry and comfortable rail bite. This fl ows into a single concave bottom towards the tail channel with hard edges. The double diamond tail offers additional grip, pressure release and directional control with low drag.

With this concept the rider will experience a total new riding sensation with higher degrees of speed, electric wave attack and radical aerial potential. The well-known JP-Australia PRO edition construction is the cherry on top with the weight of only 6 kg for the 7’2”x26”.

SLASHING ANY TYPE OF WAVES

The Surf Wide Bodies have been working out. We decided to slim down the two

smaller sizes of the Surf Wide Body range.

The all new size and shape is the 7’11”x30.5”. It has a more drawn-out outline, pulled

in nose and thinned out rails. We went for the squash tail to give the board some more

quick release.

The 8’2”x 31.5” replaces the very popular 32” wide version. We made some subtle

changes similar to the 7’11”- a little bit pulled in nose and thinned out outline in

combination with the squash tail.

The stability combined with unbelievable turning potential is still the main

characteristic of this progressive shape concept.

To further increase the range of the PRO boards we have added the 3 FCS center fi n

plugs. Try them in a Thruster set up for the bigger days or even as a Nubster set up.

The Surf Wide Body boards come with a quad fi n set.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FUSION, ALLROUND AND WIDE BODY

All three are all-round boards which work great in fl at water and small to medium waves.

The ALLROUNDs are the fastest boards in a straight line because of their directional

stability.

The WIDE BODYs are the most stable boards, because of their width and are therefore the

best boards for beginners in fl at water and waves.

The FUSIONs are the most wave oriented out of the three.

THEY LOVE THE WAVESThe combination of a surf board outline, subtly curved rocker line and generous volume

thinned out on the rails through a step deck is a winning concept that fuses glide and

stability with great surfi ng characteristic.

The bottom shapes feature concaves throughout running into a V towards the tail. The V

in the tail helps to rail up when going down a wave.

Their noses create effi cient lift and the thinned out rails produce good bite during turns.

The FUSIONs are available in PRO, Wood Edition and in AST technology.

The 10’2” is also available as a Soft Deck version.

All the sizes come with a thruster setup fi n option.

The FUSIONs have a really good glide and are happy in fl at water paddling, but they love

the waves.

UNLIMITED RANGE OF USE

Following the successful concept of the 10’6”x30” from

last year we have also decided to add a smaller version

of this performance longboard shape in a new size -

10’0”x29”. The board features a very subtle step deck

and a nicely pulled in tail.

Based on classic long board designs the ALLROUNDs are

the perfect combination of easy paddling, stability and

maneuverability. The narrow tail, in combination with

increased V, makes them very loose and responsive.

A fl at deck curve gives the rider confi dence when paddling

and the stability needed to cross the breaking waves.

The smooth bottom curve provides good glide and, in

combination with the increasing tail kick, easy turning for

wave action.

The range of use of these longboard style boards is

simply amazing. They work great for beginners, fl at water

cruisers, fi rst time surfers and for wave experts. They are

super easy to ride, turn and are surprisingly fast.

TOUR & SURF

Trying to combine the impossible is never easy. Making

a board that will have a good glide, stability and be a

solid surf board was no walk in the park. The subtle

displacement bow fl owing into a double concave

bottom with soft thin rails and narrow tail was a winning

combination. This creates a long effi cient water line

offering a superior paddling sensation on fl at water with

the longboard type of tail for easy rail to rail transfers

in the surf.

Take the Hybrid for a tour or a downwind run and check

out the waves on your way back. Bring along your

GIRL POWERFor 2016 we have developed a new Venus 8’10’’ which is a dedicated surf SUP

shape with a narrower nose section, pulled in tail with extra rocker. Towards the

back the board has a pulled-in outline with increased V. This board is for the

advanced SUP surfer girls who will enjoy the vertical turns and surfboard style

ripping that the 8’10” offers!

The 9’8” is a surfy-all-round shape that performs equally well in the surf as

well as in the directional paddling from light weight beginners to performance

surfers. It features a single concave throughout running into a V towards the

tail.

The 10’6” is a classic longboard style board that offers great directional

performance as well as the cool and easy fi rst steps in the world of SUP surfi ng.

The 10’0” with the generous 179 liters and 33,5” width is a great beginner

board for all SUP styles out there and especially for the SUP yoga as it offers a

great platform for even the most demanding poses.

The whole range comes with a FCS plug in the nose to attach a GoPro camera.

They also come with a mast-foot insert to attach a windsurf rig.

For 2016 we have gathered a great team of winning

athletes to develop the perfect line of winning shapes

together with our shaper, Werner Gnigler. Peter Bartl,

Branislav Sramek, James Casey, Peter Weidert,

Fabrizio Gasbarro and Leonardo Toso have tested

various prototypes in different conditions to fi nd the

right shapes for the major international races around

the globe.

The main objective was to keep the unmatched speed

of the 2015 shapes with added stability for heavier

riders and/or rough conditions. For the 14’0” class this

was achieved by slight fl attening of the bottom shape

and increasing the width of the tail.

The tail sections of the 12`6 models have a different

volume distribution. Due to the shorter board length

we had to add some more volume to guarantee a

perfect water position for heavier riders. A unique

deck fl ow which rises up toward the tail combines the

advantages of a low standing position, perfect water

drainage and suffi cient volume.

The nose section of the 12’6” has been thinned out

with reduced piercing shape, to make the board more

forgiving in the beach races. This was further improved

by increasing of the overall bottom curve.

We have also developed two new shapes

dedicated for the downwind race format –

14’0”x25” and 14’0”x27”.

With great input from James Casey, Werner

was able to fi nd the perfect blend of “bump-

catching” rocker line combined with a more

even volume distribution still featuring a

rounded off displacement nose which create

lots of lift. This allows the board to get on the

plane easily as soon as it fi nds a bump.

Only the very front part of the board has a sharp

piercing section for punching through a swell

that is too steep to glide over.

The narrow tail in combination with a forward

positioned fi n allows the rider to steer the board

easily down the face of the wave making it easy

to stay on the glide and connect to the next one.

The thin profi le of the board ensures a low

standing position. This in combination with

a concave bottom helps the rider’s stability

immensely. The boards are very forgiving due

to the round rails which don’t get caught on fast

glides and make maneuverability extremely

easy.

We have added a forward leash plug position

to prevent feet from getting tangled up with the

leash on the tail of the boards.

The construction of all the RACE boards

remains the full deck and bottom carbon

wrap for the ultimate in light construction and

performance.

CARBON PADDLES100% Carbon CNC shaped high density PVC

core blade with a 60% Carbon shaft is a great

performance paddle. We kept the “swing weight”

low by using the full carbon blade. The 60%

Carbon shaft is a better option for those looking

for a slightly forgiving feel at a really low weight

predominantly in waves or touring.

The dihedral foiled blades feature a generous

ABS edge for the protection of your board and

the blade. The handles are made of 100% Carbon,

the Cut-To-Length handle is covered with a

comfortable EVA.

GLASS PE PADDLESThis combination of light fi berglass shaft and

tough fi berglass reinforced Polyethylene (PE)

blade is a great alternative to heavy alloy paddles.

Due to the longitudinal structural reinforcements,

the PE blades are very light but also very stiff.

New for 2016 is the small Glass PE paddle with a

75in² blade (40cmx17cm).

The shafts have horizontally roughened surface

for a good grip and they come with an ABS handle.
