Enrolments and Vacancies
Heading into 2019, with over 20 students leaving us to relocateoverseas, interstate or across Brisbane at the end of this schoolyear, we have the opportunity to consider out-of-catchmentapplications for enrolment in most grades, commencing in2019. Seven vacancies are also available in our 2019 Prepclasses. Often the community perception regarding enrolmentsat our school can appear to be difficult for out-of-catchmentfamilies to obtain a placement. If you know of any families withinor from outside our catchment who would like to enquire aboutenrolments, please pass this message onto them as soon aspossible as class lists for 2019 are currently being compiled.

Regional Cricket Blast School Cup 2018Last Friday 9 November 2018, our Year 5/6 girls and boysrepresented Jindalee State School at the Regional Cricket BlastSchool Cup 2018. At a picturesque Norths Cricket Club bothour teams played with spirit and honour against a number ofteam from across the Region.
Our Year 5/6 boys ended up with 3 wins and 1 loss, meaningthey had to rely on percentage to progress. Unfortunately, bythe narrowest of margins of 0.2%, they missed out and endedup finishing a very respectable Third place.
Our Year 5/6 girls ended up with 2 wins and 1 loss, whichmeant they had to wait until the end of the day to see if theywere to progress into the next round. Fortunately for them, they placed second overall. As a result of they are now off torepresent Jindalee at the State level in the Q Cup finals in a fewweeks’ time. A truly remarkable result.
Well done to both teams for their efforts and dedication totraining over the past few months. Go Jindalee.
