The architecture reflects those anemic states of the archi-tect allowing the project to talk about the designer, its frustrations, joys and fails.
The architecture is a living being, always changing and in need of a hungry mind wanting to explore, someone who likes to try, being out of the box, take risks and capable to bring innovative solutions to everyday situations.
In this portfolio, I want to show you my exploration and conception of architecture through my training, understan-ding the architectural project with a global and multi-scale approach.

This project aims to create a space for the fashion into the Nutibara biological reserve, one of the two guardian hills located in the central area of
noitnevnoC eht ot resolc ,arrubA fo yellav eht Centre ¨Plaza Mayor¨ in which the fashion week Colombia Moda takes place every year. This structure allows the integration of the environment to the building through skylights and outdoor trails, the architectonical elements provi-des protection from the elements.
The concept of the building is based on a rocky outcrop, imposed in the natural environment by its geometrical composition. The triangular panels variates its materiality between solid and translu-cent materials providing light accents in the interior, such as leaks through a crack inside a cave, the light spots defines different zones, its becomes in meeting points and common areas.

In this project we create a connection between the biologi
-
cal reserve Cerro Volador (one of the two guardian hills located in the centre of the valley of boredom) and the campus of the National University, the urban proposal generate a number of facilities in the hill who serves the university, the joint between the campus and the hill is generated through a grid, the grid generate a geometrical connection between the edges, the natural edge of the hill and the edge of the university.
This grid penetrates in to the campus, ordering the space disposed for the project, the distribution of modules and public spaces.
A single module is multiplied and becomes in a cluster of modules, the clusters generate different environments between the spaces (squares and courtyards), this agrupa
-
tion proposes a system in which these same seems to become a bigger space in its final agrupation, making a differentiation between the common areas and private ones.
By planting trees, the architecture is mimetized taking a mountain like form that provides amazing views to the project.
The landscape proposals mimetize the highway in the environment giving the feeling of continuity, the invasion of the background mountain in to the campus, appropriating the project, nature as receptor.

The architectural project integrate the first level with its surounding environment.
The new proposal for social housing is located in the historic center of Medellin city, it is part of a new master plan to restore this downtown sector, broadly damaged by indigence, the arrival of informal retail market and the different factors that make this sector one of the most complex and difficult social environment (violence, prosti-tution and drug addiction).

The project began as an intervention of the edges of the lot.
The architectural project integrate the hill with the campus of the National University.
The concept is a building that unfolds organically, born on the hill and falls down invading the campus as a group of rocky outcrops that are leaving spaces between themselves, creating a biotic bridge between these two elements, a voronoi diagram order the space inside de pure geometric form, cracking it and generating diferentet spaces and programs.
The building is composed for surfaces and volumes, the elements intersects itself, generating a trim between them, sometimes generating a crack that creates a circulation, in other cases the volume disappears and leaves its footprint that generates a inside yard, all this gives richness to the project and variety in its interior spatiality. The project path is described as a transition between an academic place and a rest area, the academic space in direct contact with the campus, the rest area in contact with the biological reserve.
We have concentrated on generating different project areas, study areas , exhibition areas and theater, classrooms , cafeterias and a library , all these elements are disposed radially , being located ant the center the silent programs ( library, areas programs study ) and in the exterior the busiest programs (classrooms , cafeterias , exhibition areas and theaters ).

The proposal aims to bring all elements of daily life in the neighborhood to a vertical retrace context in which its inhabitants can generate com-munity life under conditions horizontal housing , providing them with all the elements that normally would find in a home at pedestrian level : Commu-nity gardens , recreational areas and large areas of circulation are some of the elements that make this building.

[10] SAPPHIRE - Responsive Skin
This skin was developed as an exercise taken from the book ¨Parametric Build-ing Desing Using Autodesk Maya¨, written by Professor Ming Tang in collabora-tion with architect Fulvio Wirz, in which it is proposed the development of a skin that responds to the environment or some mechanism to control the entry of light or ventilation to a given space.
For my development, I decided to use square panels, which would later be triangular to allow the deformation of the element to control the mentioned factors. The idea is to make a cover that can be adapted to any type of facade, especially for public buildings, which would add value by the shape and confor-mation of the surface.

The project extends the urban carpet inside, making the public space part of the program : cafes , restaurants , shops , exhibition areas and auditoriums to which the general public can use .
This in turn allows the formation of a servation , generating an urban bay , where the pedestrian flow of the street is a new center and meeting place .

This project is based on the design and construc-tion of an interactive trash bin , focused on a theme of movement for users of the campus of the National University of Medellin , to raise awareness to increase PET recycling activities . Through its configuration , it is posibe the student to interact with it while enjoying helping the environment .

The "Fables" collection takes up the classic stories attributed to Aesop and later rewritten by Samaniego, Iriarte and Jean de la Fontaine.
In this piece, we illustrate the story of "The Hare and the Turtle" where a hare feeling more than victorious when competing a speed race with a turtle, takes the pretentious decision to take a nap while the turtle wins victorious.
Designed digitally and printed in 3d in wax, then cast in bronze and polished by hand, bathed in gold and with an emerald green crystal and a teardrop of black glass, these sophisticated earrings have a length of 5 cm and a width of 1.5 cm.

[2] JEWELRY
This piece was originally developed as a union of visually similar elements , forming a large inert mass , then by the action of fire as an element of change, the static structure is challenged giving way to an explosion of color and form that changes the way you read the element.

[3] TRYPO
trypophobia: an irrational fear of objects with a series of clustered holes. Think honeycomb, or the patterns that emerge in sea coral. Sometimes, even circular shapes are enough to induce disgust in the sufferer – like the patterns on a poison dart frog’s back.
