MARRIAGE, ADOPTION & MODERN-DAY MAYHEM

LIFE CORNER

Would you like to become more involved in our Parish? Are you curious about all the ways your fellow Catholics are serving oth-ers in the local community? The Respect Life Office of our diocese has reached out to Our Lady of Angels and we need you! The Respect Life Office seeks to restore respect

for all human life from the moment of conception until natural death through prayer, charitable works, education, and advoca-cy. If you’d like to join in on any of the many opportunities in which we can show our commitment to the sanctity of life and the dignity of every person, please contact Lisa J. Sutton at [email protected] or text RESPECT LIFE to 703-881-1358. We look forward to working with you in service to others.

Join Divine Mercy Care to hear pro-life spokesman Ryan Bomberger, who was conceived in rape, and his wife Bethany discuss creating a life-affirming culture through marriage and adoption on Thursday, August 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Basilica of Saint Mary in Alexandria . Promoting happy marriages and redemptive adop-tion stories creates strong, happy families that can serve as a lights in the dark and confused culture. It is up to us to show that in the midst of modern-day mayhem, there’s another way to live that brings beauty, wholeness, healing, and redemption. The event is free, but space is limited. Please RSVP at divinemer-cycare.org. Office of Marriage, Family and Respect Life
