(atleast we hope) In June we unveiled a NEW newsletterformat, and told you about some of our staff changes.Well- Elizabeth Gresher will be back from a Yoga In-tensive class taken at the end of June. She has beenquietly offering private yoga lessons as part of herservices, but we are really announcing it out loud now

    - so if YOU are interested in starting Yoga, but notsure how or need help getting your Yoga practice offthe ground then give us a call!

    This month we will have a NEW hand made soap onsale - inspired by our one and only Maeve, Melissa'sdaughter. You will have to smell it to believe it!

    Melissa- if you did not see it on our Facebook page-worked at the DeKalb Multiple Sclerosis Bike ride thelast Saturday in June to give much-needed Reflexol-ogy treatments for the bikers who were riding in theevent..This was extremely popular as you might

    guess and she had quite a line waiting for her foottreatments. In addition, she has quietly started a newfoot/hand/face treatment using some of the small fra-grant herbal Thai balls made by Arun Thai Naturalsfor us. It's official now- so be sure to try it!

    Essential Healing and Massage will also be at theFrench Connection Day held at Cantigny Park inWheaton IL August 14 2011, so come out and see us.it will be our first time there! Looking ahead, we willalso have an appearance at Dr Fred Schultz(integrative medicine) annual open house the firstweek of September at The Center for Health and

    JULY RECIPE GAZPACHOTHISADAPTATION OFTHE CLASSIC SPANISHCOLDTOMATOSOUPDELICIOUSLYCOMBINESTHEBESTOFSUMMERVEGETABLES. MAKE

    SUREYOUONLYUSE THE FRESHEST , HIGHESTQUALITY INGREDIENTSFOR THISSOUP. PREP TIME: 15 MINUTESINGREDIENTS

    6 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped

    1 purple onion, finely chopped

    1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, chopped

    1 sweet red bell pepper (or green) seeded and chopped

    2 stalks celery, chopped : Continued BELOW

    1-2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley

    2 Tbsp chopped fresh chives

    1 clove garlic, minced

    1/4 cup red wine vinegar

    1/4 cup olive oil

    2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

    1 teaspoons honey

    Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste

    Method

    Combine all ingredients. Blend slightly, to desired consistency. Place in non-metal, non-reactive storage con-tainer, cover tightly and refrigerate overnight, allowing flavors to blend.
