July 10, 2013 Dear Friends and Partners, Peace and Joy to you from India in the Lovely Name of Jesus!! The monsoon has stepped in pushing the summer heat back and cooling the country. My heart is welling with joy and gratitude to The Father who created seasons and blessed us with delicious fruits like papayas, guavas, apples, plums, and bananas. Oh, the Love of The Father God for us the humans is awesome!! I had the privilege of doing a wedding ceremony for Jyothi & Ramesh on June 21st. Neither have parents. We raised Jyothi Gubbala in the Children Home at Vijayawada. Nobody came to see her after she was admitted into our Children Home about 20 years ago. She never knew her parents. She got her Master’s Degree in Commerce. She never thought that anybody would marry her being an orphan girl. The Groom, Ramesh, was declared dead by his Hindu parents a few years ago since he lost about US $200,000 in business. He is an orphan too. He jumped in river Krishna in Vijayawada to commit suicide but a BIG HAND lifted him out and placed him on its bank. He didn’t see the person but only a Big Hand. He never knew anything about Jesus. However, He heard the voice saying — If you don’t want your life, give it to me. He didn’t even know whose voice it was. He later met one of our soul winners in our church and was invited to come to a Sunday service. God has done a miracle in his life……….!! How God used Latha Alluri, my daughter, to match the couple is an amazing plan of God!! Maranatha Ministry and Central Church at Vijayawada took care of their wedding expenses. Ammaji, my wife, and I had the privilege of giving Jyothi away to Ramesh. It was a beautiful wedding ceremony with both of them sharing their testimonies with a gathering of our 150 pastors, 110 Bible School students & graduates, and local church believers. The sanctuary was full and people were shouting as Prasad Alluri and I did the wedding. It was a revival service as they shared testimonies that moved everybody. Praise God for making us a little part in sharing God’s Love and shaping up of their lives. Hearty Thanks to you for your faithful and meaningful partnership which is yielding lasting fruits in the Children Home ministry in India.

Dear Friends and Partners,

Peace and Joy to you from India in the Lovely Name of Jesus!!

The monsoon has stepped in pushing the summer heat back and cooling the country. My heart iswelling with joy and gratitude to The Father who created seasons and blessed us with delicious fruitslike papayas, guavas, apples, plums, and bananas. Oh, the Love of The Father God for us thehumans is awesome!!

I had the privilege of doing a wedding ceremony for Jyothi & Ramesh onJune 21st. Neither have parents. We raised Jyothi Gubbala in the ChildrenHome at Vijayawada. Nobody came to see her after she was admitted intoour Children Home about 20 years ago. She never knew her parents. Shegot her Master’s Degree in Commerce. She never thought that anybodywould marry her being an orphan girl.

The Groom, Ramesh, was declared dead by his Hindu parents a few years ago since he lost aboutUS $200,000 in business. He is an orphan too. He jumped in river Krishna in Vijayawada to commitsuicide but a BIG HAND lifted him out and placed him on its bank. He didn’tsee the person but only a Big Hand. He never knew anything about Jesus. However, He heard the voice saying — If you don’t want your life, give it tome. He didn’t even know whose voice it was. He later met one of our soulwinners in our church and was invited to come to a Sunday service. Godhas done a miracle in his life……….!!

How God used Latha Alluri, my daughter, to match the couple is an amazing plan of God!! MaranathaMinistry and Central Church at Vijayawada took care of their wedding expenses. Ammaji, my wife, and I had the privilege of giving Jyothi away to Ramesh.

It was a beautiful wedding ceremony with both of them sharing theirtestimonies with a gathering of our 150 pastors, 110 Bible School students& graduates, and local church believers. The sanctuary was full and peoplewere shouting as Prasad Alluri and I did the wedding. It was a revival serviceas they shared testimonies that moved everybody. I’ve preached recently to about 8,000 people most of them being Hindus orHindu-converts sitting for a few hours under asbestos-roofed sheds. A fewmore thousands couldn’t walk thru mud road due to rain. What a privilege tofeed those hungry people with God’s Word!!

Here is what the pastor’s son who did Master’sDegree in America wrote — Maranatha Ayyagaru(Sir) - Thank you so much for visiting us. You spoke so much into my life withyour advices and suggestions. I already started implementing few. Pleasecontinue to pray for me – Jeeva.

Making the message of God’s Love relevant to the culture context of caste Hindus is the secret ofsuccess in preaching. Many respond to the gospel for that reason.

However, I love to share with one person and count it a privilege to impact them for better and eternity. In fact, I was privileged to share the Gospel with an Indian atheist. What a privilege to share the Love& Life of Jesus with people who desperately need Him!!

According to the reports from our pastors from September 2012 thru May 2013, 1725 souls gotsaved, 478 converts baptized, 747 received the Holy Spirit Baptism, and 1187 open air meetingsconducted. Here are a few stories on our pastors/church planters.

Pastor. Sekher Babu: A graduate of our Bible School presently pastoringin a village called Yerrabalem. Ratnala Cheruvu is a small village of 2000people and their major occupation is making clothes with aspinning wheel. All of the villagers worship idols, drinks alcohol, and are mostly illiterate.Nireekshan Kancharla, our Bible school teacher then, led the studentsdistribute gospel tracks and street meetings a few times and as a result a

few of villagers accepted Jesus as their Savior. This was how a church was planted. The new convertshave erected a small asphaltic roofed shed for worship. Sekhar took this village ministry as he pastorsin a nearby village called Yerrabalem.

Sekhar enjoys his ministry in these villages. Eighteen people were baptized and twenty-five attendthe services. The temporary shed collapsed recently. They are now in need of a permanent facility forworship. The believers are rich in spirit but poor in finances.

Ratnala Cheruvu village was under a strong influence of people practicing witchcraft. A woman facedgreat financial loss because of this evil practice and approached Sekhar Babu and he prayed overthe situation. God intervened and delivered her from the evil powers. She was astonished by God’squick response and became a follower of Jesus.

A woman suffered from sleepless nights due to fear and hurt. She was afraid to go to sleep. SekharBabu prayed for three days until God healed the woman and delivered her from sleeplessness. Byseeing this miracle, two neighboring families have also accepted Jesus along with this woman.Halleluiah!

A Muslim woman was deserted by her husband. She was worried about not having dowry money forher daughter’s marriage as she made very little money through her daily labor. Pastor Sekhar prayedone day every month for a few months in their home God intervened and sent a young Muslim to marryher daughter without expecting any dowry from her. God has blessed them with a boy. This family isserving The Lord now.

A young man absconded 3 years ago after cheating his villagers. It left his mother mentally sick andparalyzed by which she didn’t talk or walk. At that time Sekhar visited this woman and while praying hereceived a prophetic word from God that her son would call home tonight and that he would comehome in two days. She came to church with her son the following Sunday and shared the testimony ofGod’s grace and miracle. God has been merciful to the young man by settling his problem.Thecongregation was astonished and worshipped The Lord for this miracle.Thank God for His Miracles!!

Pastor Sudhakar: Born in a Hindu family. His parents got saved and begana ministry in their village. But Sudhakar became a professional robber, alcoholic, and gambler. He got married at eighteen and had two children. He later got disappointed and decided to commit suicide and waited on therailroad track for an oncoming train. However, God has intervened warninghim three times to stop his bad practices. It turned his life around as heaccepted Jesus into his heart and decided to work in the ministry.

He later attended our Bible School called Maranatha Veda Patasala in Vijayawada. After Sudhakar’sfather passed away he took on the responsibility of his father’s ministry in 1994 at Sitanagaram. Eventhough he faced many barriers in his ministry, God blessed the small congregation in many ways bydoing miracles.

Sudhakar also started to do outreach in Mahanadu, a nearby village to Sitanagaram. A church wasplanted as a result of his effort and prayer. They have erected a shed for a place of worship.

Sitanagaram is notorious for thieves and most of the people have chosen to use robbery as theircareer for decades. It became a challenge for us to spread the Gospel to change their way of life. Bythe power of the Holy Spirit many have been transformed which turned their lives around. God hasmiraculously delivered people from demon-possession. They became powerful witnesses for God.Halleluiah!!

Pastor Ramesh came from Koya tribe. Their language is only spoken butnever written, as it does not have any alphabet. Most people are illiterateand oppressed by spiritual darkness. Many worship nature, idols, and believein spirits, superstitions and witchcraft. Drunkenness and Polygamy are verycommon among these tribal people. A doctor told me that leprosy andtuberculosis are common among these jungle dwellers.

Ramesh was chased by his father with a gun after he accepted Jesus. He ran away for his life andcame to our Bible School. We trained him for two years.

God has sent him back to his Tribe for church planting. In November 2000 Ramesh started a church atReddy Ganapavaram. He later started two other churches at Thotapalli and Mulagalampalli. Thesevillages have not heard the gospel. These small congregations with 60 in attendance stand as testimonyamong many Koya villages.

God healed people from cardiac disorders and a person suffering with severe back pain and blessedsome barren couples with children and delivered some from demon-possession. The converts live inpeace now. They need lots and church buildings in two villages.

Pastor Rani comes from a Christian family. She lost her husband at the age of 25 was left with 4children. She heard God’s call while working as a cook. And did training in our Bible School at

Vijayawada. After graduation she started church planting in a village, Nakirekal, along with her sister. God has used them to reach some tribal people. She continuesto pastor that church after her sister went to be with the Lord, One of her sons aftergraduating from our Bible School joined her to co-pastor. She has 55 memberswho took water baptism. Some of the miracles in the ministry—God healed awoman from breast cancer and a man from chest cancer after undergoing surgery

and another man from Liver disease. God uses a dedicated man or woman to release His Grace andPower to touch lives.

I have learned that many Christians are more concerned of the physical needs of the poor than thelostness of the unreached human souls whom the poor pastors are reaching. Your prayers andsupport are appreciated for these front runners on the field who are laying their lives and families insacrifice to rescue some from perishing. Let us help them, the soul winners and church planters, whilewe continue to help the orphans and widows.

It takes $30 a month to help an orphan or widow or $30-$50 a pastor or a Bible School student. Justa Coke or Coffee a day to help them. Not much? Is it ? May The Lord bless those who support theorphans, widows and the church planters!!
