ALSF Board approves support to strengthen the capacity of legal professionals in Africa’s mining

sector On July 19, 2016, the Management Board of the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF) approved a supplementary grant to the Africa Mining Legislation Atlas (AMLA) to build the capacity of African legal professions in the mining industry through both the availability of tools about mining legislation and benchmark practices. Through its complimentary capacity building component, the AMLA project seeks to strengthen the capacity of African experts on African mining laws thus contributing to facilitating evidence and informed decision-making through online platforms such as AMLA.
