Glacier National Park Service U.S. Department of the Interior July Highlights Sun Point is a great place to start a hike with a ranger, providing lakeside views and staggering mountain scenes up and down the lake. Two different hikes depart from Sun Point. Sun Point is a great place to start a hike with a ranger, providing lakeside views and staggering mountain scenes up and down the lake.

Two different hikes depart from Sun Point. Piegan Pass HikeThis spectacular all-day hike climbs 1750 feet to high alpine vistas with views of Piegan Glacier and the Many Glacier valley.
