Toronto Caribbean Carnival This is the largest cultural festival of its kind in North America and you can expect numerous events taking place around the city (from music to food-focused), culminating in a massica parade and street festival (formerly known as Caribana. Christie Pits Film Festival
This summer, join your friends and neighbours at Christie Pits Park for a cinematic journey from city to city around the world! On Sunday evenings Toronto Outdoor Picture presents the 9th summer season of its signature event, Christie Pits Film Festival. The programme will explore themes of partnership, friendship, coupledom, doppelgangers, and other dualities in the wide variety of cinematic two-handers.

Canada’s hottest street festival, Salsa on St. Clair caps a three-week celebration of Latin music, dance, food and culture. This FREE family event in midtown Toronto’s Hillcrest Village is Canada’s biggest salsa party. With thousands of salseros and flavours from 15 countries, it’s going to be spicy! Toronto Festival of Beer
The Toronto Festival of Beer, also known as Beerfest, is an annual event that takes place at Exhibition Place in Toronto. The festival celebrates Canada’s rich brewing history by featuring more than 120 brands from around the world as well as many Ontario craft brewers. The event has become Canada’s largest beer festival with 30,000 people attending every year. Established in 1994, the Toronto Festival of Beer has been sampling beer for those aged 19+ for 17 years. Toronto Summer Music Festival

Volunteers at Wellesley Central Place can spend
time with your loved one while engaging in various leisure activities such as outdoor strolls in the
backyard or courtyard, a visit to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, a trip to the library or coffee shop, reading
and reminiscing.
If you would like to sign your loved one up for 1:1 volunteer visits please contact the Life Enrichment
