St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the
Devil. May God rebuke him, we
humbly pray, and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen

youth on Zoom. If your youth is interested please send us an email. for grades 6th-

Loving God, please protect our youth from the
dangers present in our world today.
Be with them through sickness and health,
sorrow and joy, loneliness and friendship,
success and failure. Give them the courage and strength to make the right
decisions. We ask this through Christ, Our Lord.
Amen
Hello everyone! As some of you may know two of our youth will be doing NET
(National Evangelization Teams) this upcoming year. NET is such a great program. It will help them with their
relationship with the Lord, help relationships with others, and they also will be evangelizing to the youth. The
Lord calls all of us to serve, but not all of us can go out to mission, nevertheless we can still be a part of the mission by
giving/praying/supporting our missionaries. With that being said,
Charlie Cisneros and Belinda Baeza need your help. You can help by praying
for them, giving a donation, or both. If you choose to donate please let us (staff) know or you can go online
netusa.org/donate the link will bring you to a page where you will click "support a
missionary" under the "donation information" tab, a box which says "I'd like to join the mission of" you'll simply
put Charlie or Belinda's name. We thank you so much for taking the time to read
this. Also thank you in advance for prayers and donations. If any questions please call the front office at 432-520-7394 ask for Crystal. She will be more than happy to help you out. May God
bless you!

Because we feel it is important that you know how and where your donations to Helping Hands are spent, here is what was done in the past week: Electric 5 families $2,512.19 Water 2 families $669.14 Rent 23 families $29,977.73 Medical 2 families $2,244.00 Total $35,403.06

Our helpline is still ringing off the wall! It is not at all unusual to get in excess of 80 calls each day from people needing assistance. While it
is true that unemployment benefits are starting to kick in with those people who were able to get through quickly, there are still so many out there who are still waiting on their first check. Another concern we are facing right now is the high number of people who still have jobs but
whose hours have been cut in half (or even more), and it is not unusual to hear of cuts in pay. Yes, they still are fortunate enough to still have
jobs, but they do not earn enough to pay for rent, utilities and food. It is still so hard out there….
But on a positive note, because of your donations we are still able to respond to many of those calls for assistance. In fact, below is a
summary of what we have been able to do for those in need just in the first six months of this year:
Electricity 75 families $27,653.94 Water 38 families $15,312.19 Rent 692 families $777,631.41 Medical 16 families $11,477.35 Transportation 6 families $3,736.63 Home Repairs 3 families $968.76 Christmas Food (for 2019) $10,394. Misc. (IDs etc.) 16 families $2,842.75 TOTAL 846 families $850,017.77
Again, absolutely none of what we do would be possible without the
support of the people and the charitable foundations of Midland who are making it possible to help so many in need. What a blessing it is to live in this remarkable city where so many kind and caring people are willing
to reach out to help their neighbor in need. May God bless you abundantly for your generosity!
