If you have not already informed Ty Hays that you’re interested in playing either of these sports please do so. DIVORCE AND BEYOND A peer-ministry support group for separated and divorced individuals is scheduled for six consecutive Tuesdays, July 9 through August 13, 2013 at the Catholic Center, 1400 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, 46202 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The topics for discussion will be the process of divorce, self-image, stress, anger, blame, guilt, loneliness, forgiveness and happiness. The cost is $30.00, which includes program materials. Adult Opportunities
Catholicism "The most important media project in the history of the Catholic
Church in America." That is the way George Weigel, biographer of Bl. John Paul II, describes Catholicism, a ten week series on the Catholic faith. This series is be-ing presented on Sundays 9:15-10:30 AM in Rm 2, Fr. Severin Life Center. This video based program features dynamic teachings by Fr. Robert Barron, with pro-fessionally recorded video of many of the places and events he speaks about. These programs have been presented in part on EWTN. Come for as many sessions as you can. Food Pantry and the St. Vincent Client Choice Food Pantry is collected at Mass the first Sunday each month. General Mills Box Tops may be placed in the box at the back of church. Couples are encouraged to participate during pregnancy before the child’s birth. Baptisms are celebrated during the Eucharist or privately. Confirmation - Candidates for this sacrament are prepared when a student is high school age. Anointing of the Sick - The Sacrament of the Sick is available anytime by request before surgery or during serious illness. Reconciliation and Eucharist Preparation - Those of age to begin celebrating the sacraments are prepared in the family setting since parents are the primary educators of their children in matters of faith and sacraments. Matrimony/Marriage - Please contact Father or Deacon Wayne at least six, preferably nine months, before an anticipated wedding date for preparation and instructions. women’s team would like to extend a per-sonal invitation to you to attend the 2013 Women’s Retreat Weekend.
What is Christ Renews His Parish? It’s a time to focus on prayer, reflection, and the Sacraments. It’s an op-portunity to examine, rediscover, and grow in your relation-ship with Christ. It’s your time to relax and rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit.
The weekend begins Saturday, September 14t h. You arrive between 8-8:30 a.m. and the weekend concludes the afternoon of Sunday, September 15th. The retreat will take place in St. Michael’s Parish Life Center and there is no cost to participants.
As you consider attending this retreat, our prayers will be with you. We sincerely hope you will join us, as this may be the final Christ Renews His Parish retreat to be held in our parish.
