The Manager submitted h i s report showing the decisions of t he employees who were formerly covered by the London Life Insurance Plan and he stated t h a t many of them are taking the cash surrender value of t h e i r policies. He s ta ted tha t by sa doing, they defeat the object of the plan which was t o give them a pension on retirement and he recommended t h a t they be advised t h a t they would have no fur ther claim on the Corporation f o r pension for these years of service under London Life. Pursuant t o White Rock Incorporation Act, The Corporation of the Dis t r ic t

of Surrey (hereinafter cal led the "Mbieipali ty") and the Corporation of t h e

City of White Rock (hereinafter cal led the ''City") submitted t o Arbitration

before us within the t h e fixed by t he Minister of Municipal Affairs a l l

disp\ites between them a r i s ing out of the incorporation of the City.

The parties t o the Arbitration upon t h i s hearing agreed, and accordingly

we determine and award, by consent, that :
