Weddings: All weddings must be arranged through the pastor at least six months before the planned wedding in order to allow time for marriage preparation.

Tin Caps Game--The Knights of Columbus are
sponsoring the annual TIN CAPs Baseball Game Thurs.,
Aug. 16th. In appreciation of our Mass Servers, we offer
FREE tickets to this night of fun, game, and fireworks. All
you need to do is sign up on the forms in the Sacristy.
Parents, siblings, and any other St. Michael parishioners are
welcome to attend with us; tickets are $7 each. We got

home or hospital to pray with you if you or your family

Michael's parishioners - and others - enjoy the opportunity
to gather together before the Tabernacle on Mondays at 7
PM to pray with and for each other. We will be very
informal and welcoming of ANYONE who wishes to gather
to petition and praise Our Lord for any reason or no reason
at all! We will bring our sorrows and our joys, our pain
and our gratitude. No commitment! Come when you feel
the need, the desire, or when Holy Spirit drags you through
the door by your earlobe!
Diocese of Toledo Safe Environment Program in Full Compliance with USCCB Norms. Each year the Diocese of Toledo is require to undergo & audit to ensure that is is in compliance with the articles of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Charter for the Protection of Children & Young People. Bishop Daniel Thomas is pleased to announce that for the fiscal year 2017-2018, the Diocese was found to be in full compliance with the requirements in the Charter.
The Diocese remains committed to ensuring the protection of children & providing a safe environment for all young people. If you know of any abuse by a cleric, or employee/volunteer of the Catholic Church, please report the abuse to your local police dept, Child Protection Services, & Mr Frank Dilalio, Diocesan Victim Assistance Coordinator, at 419-214-4880. The Defiance County DARE program are currently working on their Annual Defiance DARE Summer Camp and Annual Hicksville Summer Camp for are youth from grades 3-7 , being held at the Defiance & Hicksville Elementary Schools. We also get Jr High, High School & College Students involved as well as parents themselves as camp counselors. This is not just a school year program but a 12 month project. It’s very important to stay in the childrens’ lives year round. Contributions are instrumental in the success and growth of D.A.R.E. Program. The Sheriff's Office would greatly appreciate your continues support in the future. Defiance Area Society for the Handicapped wants you to be aware of their services for Pharmacy, merchandise, gas vouchers. An application must be completed to determine income eligibility. Medical Equipment Loan Closet, wheelchair, shower chair, canes, etc. Loans are free; donations are accepted. Gas vouchers, this program offers vouchers for out of town medical appts only. Pharmacy Vouchers offer financial assistance to the uninsured & under insured. Merchandise Voucher assists people with covering the cost of handheld showerheads, adult briefs, etc. DASH is open Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 9:00-4:00. Phone 419-782-1399. A Family Perspective ~ July 8th ~ 14th Sunday of Ordinary Time -- Today’s gospel is so familiar, it hurts! The home town folks couldn’t accept the presence of God in Jesus. After all, they had watched him grow up. We can easily make the same mistake if we don’t see God present in the ordinary routines of our family. “The Lord be with you” is a statement of fact.
