This last quarter has been a wet one and has been very challenging for our staff. Our dogs have loved it, muddy, oh how muddy, and now get to receive a daily bath. The videos are hilarious and you can see them at Rafferty’s. We have 2 videos that run constantly and for every croissant that you purchase the money goes to our four legged friends for food, medical and behavioral training. So order a dozen at a time! They are great for breakfast and dessert.
We have an abundance of kittens that need forever homes, so drop by to peek at these little darlings. There is such a variety of colors, personalities, and sizes. Please consider if you have any washcloths, hand towels, and towels that you may not be using, these little guys benefit so much when cleaning. We also have a shortage of clumping litter, pate’, and dry kitten chow. You can drop it off or have it shipped here free from Chewy and we get credit in form of a donation from Chewy.
One last note to remind you to be aware of heat temperatures with your four legged friends.
The pads on their feet will burn from asphalt and cement. Rinse their paws off with cool water or dip in a pan of cool water. Have plenty of fresh water available at all times, shaded area is a must, and do not take them on long runs. Always think if you are too hot or your feet would burn on a hot surface, so would theirs. Have a safe and blessed summer.
Abundantly Blessed,
Terry, Executive Director
