Small folio, original 18th.C panel binding, spine professionally re-backed, gilt. Title page in facsimile, remaining text within printed borders complete. Early manuscript inscriptions/ dedications on fep. This volume represents the earliest Welsh Concordance to the Bible, printed in the printing works of Samuel Keimer in Philadelphia who employed Benjamin Franklin at the time of publication of this title. This volume is also the second book in Welsh printed in America. There may be some grounds for the conjecture that Benjamin Franklin (founding father of the US) himself may have handled this book and others in the same edition. £400 - £500
