Under the concept of “a never-never land,” a wonderland illuminating Peace Boulevard directly in front of the IETF venue with 1.3 million LED lights. Typically held in December, the City of Hiroshima has graciously extended this event to begin from the start of the IETF Meeting period.

Two Types of RFID

13.56MHz ISO 15693 Widely deployed standard RFID tags using

13.56MHz

13.56MHz Felica (ISO 18092 subset) Deployed Asian countries as a transportation

system and cash card.

Applications using RFID

Speaker Information (ISO 15693 tag) Display speaker/Questioner Information onto the

front side projector E-bluesheet (ISO 15693 tag)

Making attendees list at WG session E-ticket for social party and museum (Felica tag)

E-ticket for social party and Hiroshima peace memorial museum

KIOSK Terminal (Felica tag) Concierge services depend on user preference, such

as restaurant guide

Privacy consideration

Opt-in/Opt-out selection at registration form. Activate procedure should be applied for every

attendees through the personal information management system with ID and password.

Initial password should be changed at activation procedure.

Every user can delete the RFID tag event. RFID card contain the random number. RFID card does not contain the personal information. Provide RFID skimming protection card for every

attendees.
