Know How - From 1969

Founded in 1969, Anteo now produce the widest range of advanced loading tail-lifts available worldwide thanks to the experience developed over many years in the design and production of hydraulic components for the major European machinery manufacturers.

In 1989 Anteo started tail-lift production and rapidly achieved outstanding the national and international recognition, soon becoming world leaders in the design and production of tail lifts.

The factors that contributed and contribute still today to the enlargement of Anteo’s product image in the world are:

Anteo, a passion for reliability

Anteo’s considerable design capacity is one of the fundamental pillars for producing highly reliable products.

- 3D designs together with structural calculations and finished components;

- prototypes are fully tested with 50,000 fatigue cycles before the large-scale production is started;

- Capacity to devise simple but functional designs;

- Care over components and details;

- Use of electrical parts without electronic components, which are much less sensitive to faults and are easy to maintain;

- Strict controls start with the incoming raw materials and continue along the whole production line to the final function tests carried out on all tail-lifts before they are packed and dispatched to customers.

Advanced technology

The industrial spirit of a leading-edge company which is always on the move and in search of new manufacturing technologies.

All the tail-lifts’ main structures and most of the components are manufactured in the 3 Anteo factories that offer customers a rapid and very flexible service.

The personnel are highly qualified and constantly receive training to update their skills. They use automatic robotized FMS machines so that a consistently high level of product quality can be maintained.

Use of high quality components and standardization

- All pins are made using steel which is chromium-plated or treated with electrocataphoresis.

- Bushings have been treated so that they do not require lubrication.

- Rods with high corrosion-resistant chromium plating.

- Sandblasting, washing with phosphate liquids, painting and drying at high temperature are processes which guarantee high corrosion resistance and a quality of finishing which has always distinguished Anteo’s products.

- Standardization of all electro-hydraulic components so that the same valves and electric motors are used throughout the range, and the use of electric circuits without electronic parts are synonymous with quality and efficient post-sales service.

Safety always comes first for Anteo

All tail-lifts are equipped with safety systems compliant with the 89/392 EEC standard and are supplied as a full kit comprising:- Control Panel made of shock-resistant

material, requiring a 2-handed use (illuminated);

- Silent sound-proofed hydraulic unit;

- Electric motor with a thermal safety device which blocks the tail-lift in case of overheating;

- Flow control valves integrated in the cylinders to limit the lowering speed in case of a pipe and/or valve burst;

- Safety solenoid valves on every hydraulic cylinder;

- Tilt cylinders locked during the lowering phase until the platform reaches the ground;

- Automatic tilting of the platform at ground level;

- Back-lit remote and radio controls for night use;

- Flags on the platform;

- User operating area marked on the platform;

- EEC type-approved tail-lifts including anti-underrun bumper;

- EC conformity mark

- Operation and maintenance manual and tail-lift functional testing certificates included.

APPLICATIOnSThe retractable tail lift F3 RE30 CC is the ideal tail lift for loading and unloading heavy or specialist loads where there is also a need for dock loading of the vehicle. This is made possible by the retractable lift stowing under the vehicle floor when not in use. The F3 RE30 is available for trucks and semi-trailers.

Anteo, always keeping in mind the customers’ needs and anticipating the future have manufactured a tail-lift which can be used both as a retractable tail-lift, remaining housed under the body when not required, and as a cantilever tail-lift allowing unloading to be quicker and easier than using standard retractable tail-lifts. This model of ANTEO tail-lift has been developed with transport operators in mind, particularly those on multi-drop work. F3RE-CL can remain stowed under the lorry when the vehicle loads on docks or in warehouses equipped with loading ramps and can be used as a cantilever tail-lift when it is used to unload the goods. The driver opens the retractable tail lift as normal at his first delivery, then uses the lift as a cantilever for the rest of his deliveries, and stows it away as a retractable after his final delivery or on returning to his depot.Considering that it is an occasional cantilever tail-lift and can be regarded as a retractable tail-lift in every respect, F3RE-CL has the great advantage of allowing the body manufacture and operator to utilise maximum possible lengths allowed.

This is especially suited to Roll Cage operations, but more specifically to the typical British food industry operator.Anteo superb guide rail system eliminates any ‘Racking or Bounce‘ of the lift frame and platformduring deployment and retraction.Available in Futura version, one can choose to have the facility of tilting the platform at any level, a must where the operator loads or unloads on gradients.

VERY SAFE TO USEThe platform is available with 3 way stops / leading edges, in column lift style to the three open sides, and the new FULLy AUTOMATIC mechanically operated Foot protector/Roll cage stop.The guard automatically rises and falls as the tail-lift is operated. As the platform moves away from body floor level cam locks lift the guard thus preventing anyone on the platform from trapping or crushing feet or toes, at the same time holding roll cages firm preventing falling as the lift descends to ground level. As the lift is raised back to floor level, the guard automatically falls level with platform and body floor allowing smooth transition of roll cages into the vehicle.

APPLICATIOnSThe foreseen lengths of 3,600 mm and 4,000 mm allow a much reduced tilt, thus ensuring a simplified access of operating machines, lift trucks, motor cars and vehicles in general.

STAnDARD EQUIPMEnTPLATFORMThe F3 RA is designed with aluminium profiles and a very light structure which ensures a lifting capacity from 2,000 Kg to 15,000 Kg.

MECHANICAL FUNCTIONS- Aluminium supporting structure - Reduced weight and

increased vehicle lifting capacity.- Aluminium ramp divided in two parts with folding and

unfolding by means of two hydraulic cylinders.- Aluminium support feet positioned between the first and

second part of the ramp.- Control box to be placed on the vehicle side.

HYDRAULIC CHARACTERISTICS- 12 or 24 volt electro-hydraulic control unit to be connected

to the vehicle battery.

MOUNTING- Ramp mounted on the crosspiece of the vehicle loading

platform by means of three hinges. The support has to be welded by the fitter.
