FAMILY CIRCLE: Congratulations to Ken and Beth Kominek with the birth of a

beautiful baby girl ‘Abigail Dina Kominek. We give thanks to God for the

beautiful and precious miracle of new life. Continue to pray for all our seniors, those who suffer illnesses, and those who are lonely or shut-in. May they feel God’s

presence in their lives and may He bring healing.

Council News from June 11, 2018

1. Council approved joining the Canadian Council of Christian Charities at a cost of $235 per year.

2. The new Council Executive is as follows: Dick Bulsink as Chair, Charley Feddes as Vice Chair, and Bill DePooter as Vice-All.

3. Lucas Depooter, Matt Feddes, and Mikki Meyer signed the Covenant of Office Bearers. 4. Council thanked retiring Council members John Feddes, John Kraayenbrink, and Kurtis

Lubbers for their faithful work and service over the past three years.

5. Council discussed and reviewed the schedule for the 5 new Ministry Teams. Each team will be led together by an Elder and Deacon. Opportunities for bible studies, finance studies,

social gatherings, or a service project will made available to the congregation in the fall and spring of each year. Watch for the Ministry Teams to be posted soon.

6. Council reviewed a first quarter Congregational Assistance Plan Report. CAP continues to

be utilized well. 7. Our Corporation Papers will be updated with the new directors at the Lawyer’s office of J.

Thomas McGregor Professional Corporation. 8. Then next Council Meeting will be on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.
