Join the Fun at Pac Point Summer Camp!

We welcome all students entering Kinder through 6th grade to come experience Christian Summer Camp at Pac Point. Whether you’re looking to become the next Lego Pro or world-class Computer Wiz, we’ve got something for you! We are offering 5 weekly sessions with up to 4 to 6 different camps per session, three in June, and two in July. Choose just one camp or come for all 5 sessions! Extended care is offered before and after each camp! The Summer Camp program is dependent upon having adequate camper enrollment. Should there not be adequate enrollment, we will notify you as early as possible.

Camp Descriptions June 12 – 16

Princess Camp (Grades K-3) Camp Leader: Ms. Chapman & Miss Kayleigh (Co-Teach) We’ll make all things Princess! Flowers, crowns, wands, jewelry, etc. The girls can bring their favorite Princess costume or borrow one of mine to dress-up for a princess story, songs, games, and dancing.

Camp Wannabe Outdoor Adventure 1

(Grades K-6) Camp Leader: Mrs. Montes

It’s where you “wanna be” this summer! Come enjoy an outdoor camping experience like no other while playing games like Nerf Ball Relay & Freeze tag. Go on a treasure hunt, sing campfire songs & make delicious s’mores. Win prizes from the Treasure chest! You’ll have so much fun, you’ll want to sign up for Camp Wannabe 2 & 3!

Guitar Camp I (Grades 3rd-5th) Camp Leader: Mr. Burdick (Mrs. Burdick’s son) Mr. Burdick who is a Music Major at Biola University and will be teaching this fun guitar camp. The students will learn how to read some music and guitar tabs. They will also learn one song this week. Campers will need a guitar and notebook.

Intro to Lego (Grades Kinder-6) Camp Leader: Mr. Trent Goris (Mr. & Mrs. Goris’s son)

Who likes to build with great imagination? In Lego Camp the creations are endless. There will be task’s to complete and also some free building. Will be creating a mini figure and even creating a town in Legos!

Acting Camp 1 (Kinder-6) Camp Leaders: Miss Kayla

Students will be exposed to basic acting, drama lessons, and activities in a safe and enthusiastic environment. Students will learn about speech, body language, and volume. They will learn how to open up to an audience and find their comfort zone. Students will have so much fun that they will want to sign up for Stage & Set Design, Props & Costumes, Script & Improv, and Acting Camp 2.

Lego Space Camp (Grades 2-6)

Camp Leader: Mrs. Goris

Have some out of this world fun while building a spaceship and space station. Fly to each planet and learn about the constellations. This is one space adventure you don’t want to miss!

Science ‘N Games 1 (Grades K-3) Camp Leader: Mr. Trent Goris (Mr. & Mrs. Goris’s son)

Is your favorite subject science? Do you like going outside and having fun? If so, you should come and join Science ‘N Games! You will enjoy three days of fun hands-on science activities outdoors. You will also spend two days indoors learning computer science by working with Power Point and Microsoft Paint.

Kinder Readiness 1 (Incoming Kinder) Camp Leader: Mrs. Montes

Get a head start on kindergarten! Meet new friends and learn early reading, writing, math and social skills in a nurturing classroom setting.

Participate in crafts, activities, and Bible memory verse fun! Sign up for Kinder Readiness 2 for additional Kinder Readiness instruction.

Stage & Set Design, Acting Class! (Grades K-6)

Camp Leader: Miss Kayla

From puppets to painting sets, children’s creative thinking skills will be used to create props, settings, and characters unique to each individual. Students will have so much fun that they will want to sign up for Props & Costumes, Script & Improv, and Acting Camp 2. Students will stay engaged all summer with a new and exciting theme.

Children will use their imagination to create props and costumes, and learn how to utilize them while acting. Students will have so much fun that they will want to sign up for Script & Improv, and Acting Camp 2.

Monday - Tent day! Bring an old white sheet to use to build your tent. Tuesday – CLOSED FOR THE 4th of JULY! Wednesday – Scavenger Hunt Day! Have fun looking for those hidden items with your friends. Thursday – Game Day! Games, Games, Games…Spend the day playing your favorite games with your friends. Friday – Water Games Day! Bring a bathing suit, towel, and change of clothes. This is going to be a fun filled day of playing water games and getting wet! Each day there will be a theme centered on having fun! Sign up early and only pay $5.00 per hour. Drop in rate $7.00 per hour.

Cartooning Camp 1 (Grades 3rd-6th)

Are you “drawn” to doodling? Not scared of sketching? A person with a passion for playful pictures? Then you’ll love Cartooning Camp! Kids of all artistic levels will enjoy learning to draw cartoons by working with basic shapes. We’ll also come up with ways to create funny captions. It’s going to be FUN!

Script & Improv, Acting Class (Grades K–6) Camp Leader: Miss Kayla

Children will use their imagination to create skits and learn different acting techniques so they can perform for one another. Student’s will have so much fun that they will want to sign up for Acting Camp 2.

Minecraft Computer Camp 1 (Grades 3rd-5th) Camp Leader: Mrs. Mattocks

In this fun, creative course, campers use the ever popular Minecraft video game to build their own worlds, solve puzzles, and create together! Includes various building and crafting challenges, team games, competitions, and much more! While building and playing, campers will gain a great appreciation for math, science, will see their creativity and social skills soar! Both newcomers and experienced Minecraft players are invited to have fun and learn together. Outdoor games included. Limited space 12 and Minecraft accounts welcomed.

Pac Point will offer before and after camp care based on pre-enrollment for the Summer Extended Care Program. Pre-registration will be a cost of $5.00 / hour. Drop in rates will be $7.00 / hour.
