nected. Police have alsobeen investigating theproperty of the deadwoman’s husband, onL i l l e c r a p p R o a d ,Ilparpa, southwest ofAlice Springs.
One resident said upto seven police cars ar-rived at the property‘‘en masse’’ on Tuesdaymorning to conduct for-ensic investigations.
Resident and formerproperty owner of thelot, Ian McLiesh, said aletter from NT Police,left in his post-box, said
the police were ‘‘con-ducting doorknocks inyour area in relation toa homicide investi-gation that occurred onTuesday 15th of May,2012.’’
Two police detectivesat Ilparpa yesterdaytold the Centralian Ad-
vocate they were con-ducting ‘‘ongoing foren-sic investigations’’, withtwo forensic officersand at least five Fireand Rescue officers on-site.

FOOTBALL star LiamJurrah will be allowedback to the NorthernTerritory to play foot-ball in Darwin in Julybut is facing four newaggravated assaultcharges.
Court documents re-veal that the weaponsused in the assaultswere a nulla nulla andan axe, not a macheteas police originally al-leged.

In March Jurrah wascharged with unlaw-fully causing serious

Christopher Walker,23, was also charged inrelation to inflictingserious head injurieson Jurrah’s cousin,Basil Jurrah, at LittleSisters Town Camp inAlice Springs in March.
Walker also ap-peared in court yester-day and his case hasbeen adjourned untilJuly for the oral com-mittal hearing.
