For automatic admission as a freshman, you must graduate from high school on the Texas recommended plan or curriculum equivalent and meet the class rank and minimum SAT or ACT scores. Students with no class rank must have an unweighted 3.0 grade point average and meet the minimum SAT or ACT scores. Please refer to the chart at right.

VACCINATION REQUIREmENT

any incoming Texas college student under 30-years-old must be im-munized against bacterial meningitis before they enroll in an institution of higher education. Prospective students who do not submit the proper vaccination documentation by the deadline will be dropped from classes and will not be allowed to re-enroll. Please refer to the official UT arling-ton bacterial meningitis website to learn the deadline for your enrollment term and how to submit documentation through our third-party service, Magnus health sMr. uta.edu/meningitis.

TOEFL SCORES ANd OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS

all international applicants from non-native english speaking countries are required to submit Toefl scores. Toefl scores may be waived if:• a student scores 480 or above on the critical reading section of the saT.• a student has taken english composition (engl 1301 and engl 1302) at a U.s. Estimated Expenses

(2012-2013 academic year)Tuition and Fees*: $9,152 for in-state under-graduates, $18,004 for out-of-state undergraduates, and $18,174 for interna-tional undergraduates. This amount does not include college-based Enhanced Designated Tuition that ranges from $7 to $96 per semester credit hour based on specific course enroll-ment, International Student Insurance, or parking.

Flat Rate Tuition: The flat rate for 12 or more credit hours for the 2012-2013 academic year is $4,439 per semester.

Books and Supplies: $1,160

Residence Living: Residence hall prices range from $2,630 to $5,410 per academic year. UT Arlington-owned apartments range from $472/month to $1,068/month.
